Stay was pleasant.
A room for 3 only had 2 sets of cups and no spoons, 2 towels instead of 3. Had to call room service each time we required the 3rd set of above
1st Room allocated - Aircon did not work. 2nd room was lovely. We had poor internet service. Both breakfast meals we had to ask for some of the food that was on the menu but not served. Servings were generous.
Had to move rooms 3-times,
The 1st was absolutely filthy which they agreed with us.
2nd, had insect poo falling through the ceiling messing the bedding etc which they couldnt fix an had to move us to the 3rd which had fresh paint smell clogging drains etc, had to just live this experience out
This was my first vacation with my kids and The Estuary Hotel and Spa went above and beyond to make our short stay both comfortable and relaxing. My kids were well entertained, had loads of fun and even refused to leave. I will definitely be going back for a longer stay.

Beautiful setting and lovely staff.
The hotel itself is very charming and set in the most beautiful area. We had a lovely time and the breakfast was very good. Rooms were spacious and well kept but we did have a problem with flying ants and other bugs. Overall, a good stay.

Check in was quick and efficient.
the room we were given the first night had a mouldy smell, which was efficiently taken car of in the morning and we were moved to another room.
The meals at the hotel was great and we breakfast and dinner, even if we required an item that was not on the breakfast menu.
My son who is 5 and half loaf the Kids club.
The staff went out of they way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
we will definitely book at this hotel again.
When I arrived at check in, I was told that there was an outstanding balance on my account. I advised them that the accommodation was prepaid. I had booked for two adults and 2 children on the check in information sheet they only had it as 2 adults. The room was disappointing and this is definitely not a 4 star establishment. The bathroom had a strong smell of urine and the shower was dirty. The room had a problem with ants. We booked dinner at the hotel and had to wait an hour and a half for our food and when it did arrive the food was cold. There seemed to be a lot of arguing between the waiters and the chefs. A lot of guests ended up leaving without eating. The hotels.com confirmation states that the room has iron and ironing board facilities. On Sunday morning we called for a iron and ironing board. We were told that they do not give guest the iron and iron board but offer the service. My husband asked if there was a charge and was told there wasn't. When the lady gets to the door she tells us there is a fee of R6 per item. Because the clothes need ironing we had no choice but to give it in. This is misleading and I was extremely upset by this. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and I am in the travel related industry.
The Estuary Hotel was a very good experience. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Definitely value for money and I would stay there again.

Pleasant family get-away
Check-in was prompt. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
The room though was not ready even though we were checking in 2 hours after check-in time. The staff worked quickly to have our room ready.
Although neat, the room had a feel of being old. The welcome mat was tattered and torn. The room also had an unpleasant smell but the friendly spa staff loaned us an aromatheraphy burner to make the room more comfortable.
Room service is only available when the restaurant is not serving buffet. The breakfast and supper was quite enjoyable.
great location really spectacular they need to purchase egg cups they had none for my order of boiled eggs apart from that it was great very good attitude from all the staff willing to please from the bedroom cleaner to all the other staff 100%
