The hotel itself is very charming and set in the most beautiful area. We had a lovely time and the breakfast was very good. Rooms were spacious and well kept but we did have a problem with flying ants and other bugs. The meals at the hotel was great and we breakfast and dinner, even if we required an item that was not on the breakfast menu. My son who is 5 and half loaf the Kids club. The staff went out of they way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. we will definitely book at this hotel again. ##### D ### 2/10 Terrible #### VN 3 Apr 2018 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Disgusted and extremely disappointed When I arrived at check in, I was told that there was an outstanding balance on my account. I advised them that the accommodation was prepaid. I had booked for two adults and 2 children on the check in information sheet they only had it as 2 adults. The room was disappointing and this is definitely not a 4 star establishment. The bathroom had a strong smell of urine and the shower was dirty. The room had a problem with ants. We booked dinner at the hotel and had to wait an hour and a half for our food and when it did arrive the food was cold. There seemed to be a lot of arguing between the waiters and the chefs. A lot of guests ended up leaving without eating. The hotels.com confirmation states that the room has iron and ironing board facilities. On Sunday morning we called for a iron and ironing board. We were told that they do not give guest the iron and iron board but offer the service. My husband asked if there was a charge and was told there wasn't. When the lady gets to the door she tells us there is a fee of R6 per item. Because the clothes need ironing we had no choice but to give it in. This is misleading and I was extremely upset by this. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was very good.
