We expected it to be lovely, but it was even better than we expected. So clean. Beautiful tile floors, comfy beds. The owners are wonderful, very welcoming, and they were always available to answer questions or help out. The pool is perfect. We had more than enough space for the three of us: a big, fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, lots of outdoor space to spend time. There was coffee and sugar and milk provided for our first morning, and I enjoyed the Nespresso machine. It is located toward the bottom of town, but it's only a short drive to the shops. We enjoyed being away from the crowds in a quiet neighborhood. There are a few places to eat and have coffee within walking distance. We went during stinger season, so not advised to swim at the nearby beach areas that are also within walking distance, but I did spend some time down at the beach and it was beautiful. There's a stinger net for swimming at the top of 4-mile beach, and we did some Great Barrier reef tours while we were in town as well. Our last night we even had a green tree frog near the door which was a great way to end our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer.
