"Very helpful, friendly, and beautiful staff who pampered me while I was recuperating from a pulled knee ligament. Young Deborah and Pierre especially could come home with me to befriend my two offspring of the same age.
The place itself is a gorgeous neo-classical structure of heavy sandstone blocks finished with contemporary fixings that together create a refined yet funky air of nouveau chic. Great value too."

"Very nice hotel right next to the centre harbour port area. Very friendly english speaking staff. No car parking but lots of city parking fairly close. Will definitely stay again when in La Rochelle."
"We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. We were welcomed by friendly reception staff and if we had any issues (the safe battery ran out!) it was dealt with quickly and without fuss. We didn’t take the breakfast option so can’t comment there but the coffee smelled amazing each morning! The hotel is a little outside of the centre but that is reached easily with a 5 minute walk along the coastal path. There is a plethora or restaurants within east reach. We look forward to staying again! "

"I am unable to comment on this property. As when we arrived they had no reservation for us. They have taken our money and between them and Expedia we had nowhere to sleep for 2 nights!!!! At this time we cannot decern who is to blame. We will chase Expeida customer services for more answers "
