Beautiful French Vacation Experience

Our French Vacation Cottage was everything we hoped it would be... Out in the country, beautiful flowers that surrounded our property, sheep out in the meadow behind us. The owners, Catherine and Francis were perfect hosts even though we had a language barrier, as we are from the USA, and were their first guests from our country.. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. We even enjoyed an evening with them, as they had friends in that understood English and translated for us. It was an evening to remember!! Our main reason for traveling to France was for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day... We traveled to the D-Day Beaches and Le Mt St Michelle. We experienced French Cusine in some wonderful restaurants and met many wonderful friendly people. It was a beautiful, wonderful experience and we would recommend this lovely home to anyone interested in this type of vacation.

Das Haus selber liegt schön, die Vermieter sind nett. Die Einrichtung eher einfach und älter. Matratzen sehr hart. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist spartanisch, da haben wir schon deutlich Besseres erlebt. Das Internets ist so langsam, dass nur bedingt zu gebrauchen ist. Auf dem Freisitz, der etwas einfach gestaltet ist sitzt man leider auf dem Präsentierteller, wo man ständig unter den Blicken der Vermieter aus ihrem Haus oder von ihrer Arbeit mit den Schafen steht. Wer‘s mag...

Het huis zelf was goed, alles ...

Het huis zelf was goed, alles werkte naar behoren. De 3 slaapkamers waren netjes en schoon. Minder was de TV een TV van +/– 25 jaar oud kan niet meer in 2016. Internet was dramatisch we konden daar nauwelijks gebruik van maken, internet snelheid was 2 Mbps en viel grote delen van de dag weg. Eigenaars van dit huis waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ondanks de TV en internet toch een zeer goede vakantie gehad. Reistips: Het strand van Portbail is prachtig moet je echt zien. In Portbail is alles voorhanden zo als supermarkt restaurants bakkers.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus mit schönem Garten. Vermieter sehr nett. Es wäre super, wenn die Badewanne im unteren Badezimmer mit einer Duschstange und Duschvorhang ausgestattet würde, damit man dort auch duschen und nicht nur baden kann.Betten sind etwas hart.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Reisetipps: Portbail ist ein netter Ort, toll gelegen mit allem, was man so zum Leben braucht....Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden! Die Strände sind einfach nur gigantisch, kilometerlang, breit, menschenleer und das in der Hochsaison!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durc...

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümerin mit einer Flasche Sekt. Das Haus macht einen guten Eindruck, liegt sehr ruhig. Sehr praktisch das elektrische Tor zum Haus. Verbesserungswürdig wäre die Toilette mit einem Waschbecken. Für 6 Personen ausgelegt im Parterre nur eine Toilette, das ist definitiv zu wenig. Auch die Duschvorrichtung in der Badewanne würde sich auf eine Erneuerung freuen. Eine Halterung an der Wanne wäre empfehlenswert. Die Küche ist angenehm gross und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, bis auf ein paar mehr Steckdosen in der Küche. Eine Steckdose reicht einfach nicht an der Arbeitsfläche. Reisetipps: Da dies mein vierter Urlaub in verschiedenen Häusern in der Normandie innerhalb von 3 Jahren war, empfehle ich unbedingt die für mich schönste "ECKE" Cape Le Hague zu besuchen.einfach traumhaft schön.Auch Barfleur ist eine Reise wert. Einfach ins Auto setzen und losfahren und durch Zufall einen wunderschönen Ort entdecken.

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig von einem gepflegten Garten umgeben,direkt an den Salzwiesen.Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und wohnen direkt nebenan.Das Haus an sich ist sehr spartanisch,nur mit dem allernötigsten ausgestattet.Das Interieur ist sehr veraltet und unzweckmäßig.Da ist dringend einiges zu erneuern damit man sich wohlfühlen kann.Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten das ganze Haus gemietet damit wir ein 2. Badezimmer hatten. Wir würden das Haus nicht noch einmal buchen. Reisetipps: Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es reichlich. Die Strände sind endlos und waren fast menschenleer. Granville, ca. 80Km südlich von Portbail, erinnert etwas an Monaco und hat eine Menge schöner Geschäfte.In Portbail gibt es auch einige Restaurants, die zu empfehlen wären. Sehr schön ist es auf der Terrasse vom Rendevous des Pecheurs, einfache und gute Gerichte. Direkt gegenüber etwas steifer und gediegener, dafür eine gehobenere Küche.
