Rummet vi fick var i gammalt skick och motsvarade inte de bilder som visades vid bokning. Problem med avlopp/toalett. Personalen var trevlig men när vi påpekade att vårt rumt inte motsvarade det som visats vid bokning fick vi ingen kompensation eller vettiga förklaringar - de skyllde på att ägaren inte prioriterade att renovera eller hålla det i gott skick.

Modern facility with very helpful staff.

Modern and clean facility. Unusual helpful and dedicated staff, also helping us out after our stay. Nice swimming pool and short walk to clean beach, also offering bicycles for free (given availability). Nice and peacful breakfast close nearby pool.

5 days in Poros

So this was a very cheap 5 day stay so rating as such. Saw the August price and if I’d paid that would hav3 been a different scenario. Overall room was a decent size, bed comfortable and bathroom quite nice too. Had a big balcony with pool view. Aircon was okay as it was a cooler July than normal. Think in a heatwave it might have struggled. Room a little rundown with mould behind the wardrobe but if you don’t look you don’t notice. Cleaners very polite and helpful and with two ladies cleaning the whole complex they did pretty well and worked extremely hard. Pool area was terrible with leaves covering the surface until guests used the cleaning net to remove. Sunbeds broken and snack bar had hardly anything to offer. Could be utilised so much better. Bar staff looked bored silly so maybe they could clear the pool or learn to make pizza and salads etc to up the pool bar game. Room had a kettle but no cups, spoons etc. Asked one day for a cup next day it had gone. Sorry Brits love their cuppa on the balcony. Breakfast was included and was okay. Only went twice but was a nice touch for guests. By day two decided the pool wasn’t for us and walked a few mins to the beach ( in front of Helens I think) where there were a few beds, snacks served to your bed and a taverna next to it. The rest of our stay was following this routine which was perfect. Considering the 40/50 Euro a night price tag I’d say it was okay as budget accommodation. Poros was beautiful.

Basic Budget hotel

This is the first time I have ever written a “bad”’review. Hotel was dirty. Very “budget” style. Room was dirty, ants everywhere. Extremely small and beds (4 singles no doubles) and hard box spring style mattress. You can’t roll over in bed or you’ll scratch your arms/knees on the wall. Bathroom was very small, difficult to close the door when you are inside, shower leaked everywhere. It’s about 10’ a long dirt road to the beach and a couple tavernas. Breakfast was very basic. It’s not somewhere I would recommend or stay again. We left the hotel the next morning and booked at New Aegli Resort (10’ away) Now, that is a hotel.

The pool was lovely and the room was a good size unfortunately the hydro bath didn't work and the ceiling leaked in the bathroom when the air con was on! the lady on reception/bar area was very helpful and the soundproof rooms were useful as there was a small waterpark only 3 or 4 meters from our room.

Peace and Quiet

A beautiful remote spot on the gorgeous island of Poros. Accommodation was cosy and clean, pool was great and breakfast was delicious. Hats off to Maria and co for making our stay welcoming and great

Nice hotel with friendly staff and great pool!

We had a great time in Poros! The host, Vangelis, made us feel very welcome and informed us about Places to og, where to eat, and what to see. This was very helpful. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. The pool is great, and the Beach is close! We highly recommend this hotel.

Paradise in Poros

New refurbished rooms swimming pool to die for and an owner you would like to meet in any hotel you visit. Vaggelis is well known for his kindness ,education and his amazing hospitality. Customer service at is should be . 5* owner and apartments. We will come back . P.s. Mr Kostas is in charge of everything he is super sweet and kind , do not leave without saying goodbye to him with a kiss :)

Que du positif!

L'hôtel est confortable, le bus pour le port passe régulièrement en bas de la rue (où se trouve également une plage)et toutes les commodités nécessaires sont présentes dans l'établissement. Par ailleurs, l'accueil reçu lors de mon séjour était au-delà de mes attentes. L'ensemble du personnel est chaleureux, de bon conseil et amical. Je reviendrai.

Warm Welcome at Cool Cascade

Hosts were very welcoming and offered lots of information about area. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pool was lovely as was scenery from gardens. Snack/Bar was open all day till late at night (I think till last resident retired to room). parking was easy. Rooms clean, beds comfortable but kitchen area not useful - no kitchen facilities except a fridge.

Cascade, voglia di tornare....

Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni fantastici girovagando tra le varie spiagge dell'isola ancora deserte... La nostra permanenza al Cascade si è poi prolungata di 3 giorni rispetto a quanto prenotato a causa della cancellazione del volo di rientro in Italia. Nonostante qualche "momento di panico collettivo", i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci la sistemazione per le ulteriori notti. Ambiente informale, grande piscina e colazione varia. Suggeriamo la sistemazione nelle camere superior, decisamente più nuove e confortevoli delle standard. Complimenti allo staff, in particolare a Vangelis e alla sua cordialità "British style".

Το ξενοδοχείο ηταν σε πολυ καλη τοποθεσία κοντά στη θαλασσα..τα δωμάτια ηταν ανακαινισμενα και πολυ ευρυχωρα..ο εξωτερικος χωρος του ξενοδοχειου ηταν περιποιημενος με μια ωραια πισινα..

Mooi luxe hotel

Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. Hoewel ze nog bezig waren met de kamers recovered gaf het hotel een mooie luxe en comfortabel gevoel. Zeker een aanrader voor zowel stellen als gezinnen met kinderen. De liggen is vlakbij het strand maar wel op een afstand dat het geen overlast van geluid heeft.

Hôtel proche de la mer

Séjour du 26 sept. au 1ier octobre Je suis satisfait de cet hôtel, aucune mauvaise surprise !!! L'établissement correspond aux photos , et la chambre que nous avons eu était tout simplement très bien !!! et une belle piscine!! Le personnel a été très agréable , et toujours à nôtre service. Pour info, prévoir une solution de locomotion ( location de scooter, quad...) ou marcher !! pour visiter l'ile , mais comme dans toutes les îles grecques. Pas de monde certes , mais le repos que je recherchais. Un très bon rapport qualité / prix en cette saison.

A very big disappoitment !

We made a reservation for two bedrooms and we only have one bedroom (that's why we give a 1 for the comfort room because we have to share the room and it wasn't planned)and this is not the only wrong thing about this place. The room was OK but the finishing touches aren't (heated towel rail not fixed on the wall...), air conditioning wasn't really working.The comfort promised by the hotel wasn't really there! The breakfast doesn't worst the 6 euros that it costs : it's cheap and not very varied. And don't even think about internet, you won't receive anything. And everything is like that in that hotel ! Then the location of the hotel... don't even look at the free shuttle, it's doesn't exit and the tourist information desk at the port have never heard about that hotel. The hotel is at least 2km far from the port and that's not exactly what was written on our reservation. But we have to say that the hotel is quite nice : cascades and pool are pretty. Finally the hotel's owner : he seems to act exactly like if there is no customer in is hotel and he wasn't really helpful, he barely told us the good locations on the island. We're terribly disappointed about this hotel. Last advice for the next customers : if the team of the hotel offer to organize you extra service (like calling a cab), be very careful cause you may be fooled and pay twice the price !
