Find the Best Porcupine Ridge Bed and Breakfast

"I booked a room with a spa bath, but the hot water system couldn't provide enough water to fill it up. In fact, by the time the second person took a shower, the water was already turning cold. On top of that, the spa bath itself was broken. The entire place was filled with tiny flying insects, and the soundproofing was terrible—there’s a bar right next door with a live singer performing late into the night. Worst of all, the mattress was broken and completely collapsed in several spots. The only redeeming feature was the excellent wood-fired pizza place right across the street."

"Jane was such a caring host, so inviting and helpful. Every room in the house was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Jane has decorated the house to perfection and she had thought of everything to make our stay very special. We didn't want for anything. The kitchen had everything you would need to have a lovely presented dinner. We didn't want to leave.Thank you Jane! We will be back!"

"Don’t book this place. Their serves is terrible! I booked this place recently May 2026 for my parents as a gift for my mum’s birthday. However they were treated very rudely during the checking process. My mother called them and asked about early check in and where the parking was and had the phone slammed back at her. Mum called back again but no one picked up. This experience ruined mum’s day and they left without checking in and I was charged by the accomodation anyway despite trying to contact them to cancel the booking after this incident occurred!!! When I called Expedia to contact the accomodation to get a refund, the accomodation did not respond to email or phone calls. When Expedia finally got though, the accomodation claimed that my parents used the wrong number to contact them, which is false because they used the contact number provided by the accomodation directly in their multiple messages to us, and it was included in their message’s letterhead with their business address and details and it was the only contact number provided. I have never ever experienced this level of rude and bad service in my life. And the level of arrogance and shifting of responsibility onto customer with out even and apology after the incident occurred is atrocious!!!! "

"Very cool design of the front patio/deck (like we were sailing with the oars, steering wheel, lantern etc) , cosy interior cabin with gorgeous art selections (loved these inside and outside), comfy and clean with all required essentials. Carembeen park on the doorstep was perfect for us and the 2 dogs who loved running around exploring everything. Host was very kind, efficient and clear with all communication. Recommend this for anyone who wants a break from the city/suburban life without requiring too far a drive. Creswick town was quite pleasant too with great restaurants and cafes , and did we have the space would have loved to carry home a few pieces from the vintage and aet shops around. Did not know John Curtin was born there."

"It was a lovely stay with delicious breakfast and beautiful garden at the back for a walk in the morning. They had late check in available till 11pm which was really helpful for us. We will definitey come back to explore more."
