"We booked this hotel for our Yellowstone stay many months in advance. When we got to the hotel we found that the hot tub was closed for repairs, which is a major reason we chose this hotel. We also found that the TVs were not on cable, but only worked with WiFi (LG channels only). The WiFi did not work in our room, so we had no devices or TV in the evenings when we returned from a day in Yellowstone. They had a good continental breakfast with good hours and we got good sleep, but the WiFi and hot tub were disappointing."
"The lodge is great...the dining room and deli, unfortunately, are terrible. All meals were substandard and there are no other nearby options to eat. I do NOT recommend you stay here. The other lodges in the park have much better food."
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Lovely place right next to the north entrance of Yellowstone. Super convenient to everything you need. Staff was very helpful. We booked a river room but they overbooked and gave us a cabin. Very nice beds but the pillows were slightly uncomfortable."
Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"We made a great choice by staying at the Starlite Yellowstone. Hotel was very clean and the service was exceptional. We used the work out room during our stay and they had quite a number of pieces of equipment we could use. We were also able to park our vehicle on-site at no additional charge and walk to the various stores and restaurant in the area as it was conveniently located."
"We had a wonderful stay at Westgate. Ok, the rooms are a little outdated. BUT, they are clean, quiet, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful! And location… the best! Located at the end of the street . Away from all the hustle and bustle of town. Yet, only MINUTES from the West entrance to Yellowstone. Breakfast was great. Many choices! Coffee and tea , always available.
I loved this small hotel. They made my first trip
to Yellowstone that much easier!"
"The room was so clean they came in every single day to make sure that it was tidied took out the trash and made my bed even staying at Disney. Even there I don’t get that every day so I was very impressed.
The breakfast buffet was basic and on day one I thought maybe I’ll eat in the park tomorrow (spoiler alert. I did have breakfast at Mammoth. The next day in Mammoth had the worst breakfast buffet I’d ever seen) after that I gladly ate at the White Buffalo for breakfast for my succeeding four days and it was lovely breakfast comparatively. Staff was very nice and breakfast was ample. I’ll be back for sure."
