VILLA PRUNUS is located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Arezzo, in a stunning panoramic position overlooking the medieval castle of Poppi. The price calculated on the VRBO platform covers up to 8 guests and grants exclusive use of 4 of the 5 bedrooms; if you require all 5 bedrooms, please enter "10 guests" when booking to ensure the fifth room is opened—otherwise, it will remain closed (and naturally, will not be rented to anyone else). VILLA PRUNUS is an early 20th-century residence that has been tastefully renovated and equipped with every modern comfort to accommodate up to ten or eleven people. The property spans 180 square meters and features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a separate kitchen, and two living areas. It has three independent entrances and is laid out over two floors. The ground floor comprises a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (equipped with a shower and accessible for guests with disabilities); a tea room with a wood-burning stove, sofa, and writing desk; a dining room with sofas and satellite TV; and a kitchen featuring a wood-burning fireplace, a dining table for ten, a dishwasher, an induction cooktop, an electric oven, an extractor hood, and a fridge-freezer. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms with private bathrooms (showers) and two additional double bedrooms sharing a bathroom (shower); this floor also offers direct access from the garden. Outside, guests can enjoy a private swimming pool (5 x 11m) complete with interior and exterior lighting, a hot-water shower, and sun loungers (open during mid and high seasons). Bathed in natural light and nestled in the quiet of an ancient oak forest—where one might spot red deer, fallow deer, and roe deer, or gather mushrooms, blackberries, and olives depending on the season—the villa is the perfect setting for a peaceful nature retreat. In addition, there is a fantastic covered stone barbecue area featuring lighting, a grill, a wood-fired pizza oven, a sink with potable water, and counter space, as well as a table and chairs for outdoor dining—offering panoramic views of the stunning Casentino Valley.
The owners welcome guests with special treats, and mid-week they prepare homemade pasta with ragù.
