"It was decent for one night"

"What a unique stay along the river! We loved this hotel."

"I stayed at 5 hotels in the last two weeks with my dog. Pet charge was the most expensive. The entire total ended up costing me an extra $100. Shop around. There are several other hotels to choose from and others "Do" acknowledge Military Discount. Very disappointing."

"Here for a quick getaway. Location OK...a little walking required to get to some touristy sites. Don't pay for parking..other options available. Unfortunately we had the pleasure of staying on the 5th floor with college kids in for the weekend. Not much sleep Saturday nite and when addressed to the staff...not much we can do about it...we tell them to be quiet. Next time will consider a boutique inn or bed and breakfast. "

"Staff are not friendly"

"On the positive, the sheets and towels were clean which was very appreciated. With that said, the floors and toilet were not as clean. The toilet had an orange ring in it & the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor (we had to add a 2nd towel to the floor. The check-in/front desk lady wasn't rude but not really friendly either. Cleaning staff & breakfast staff were kind and professional. I'd recommend paying the extra $50 to stay at a better place. "

"I was not at all impressed by my visit. When I arrived, the person at the front desk was talking to a coworker about an incident that had previously occurred, and even walked away before completing my check in and giving me my room key. I initially was not bothered by this, and chalked it up to a shift change. Then when I got to my room, there was a strong sewage odor. The shower was also severely stained, or not properly cleaned, and my sink drain was clogged. There was also drywall damage in the ceiling, which looked like it came from a previous leak. Night 2, I went downstairs to grab dinner, as I was not familiar with the area, only to be told that the restaurant was not open. It was 8pm, and I was told the restaurant closes at 11. I then asked for a margarita, and the person behind the bar said she was filling in and didn’t know how to make one, so she offered me beer or wine. I ended up getting a crown and Pepsi and taking it to my room. There’s more, but I’ll leave it there. Overall, the aesthetic was nice, and matched the photos, but I will not be returning. The 3 stars was mainly for the location, because it was convenient and less than a mile from places I needed to get to."
