(6 reviews) The room was great and everything the description said it would be. I only have it a 3 star rating because the walls are thin and so is the floor. I could hear everything above and below me. There were kids who thought the place belonged to them. They were up at 6am running up and down the stairs two mornings in a row. Nothing like being on vacation and woken up every morning by you neighbors. The only way to complain about the issue was through Whatsapp as there is no one from the hotel present. (364 reviews) Clean and comfortable room in a good location. Nice pillows and linens. The thin spring-style mattresses in the twin room seem due to be updated. The hotel itself was very quiet for a Saturday night however a building or car alarm in a nearby street sounded all night long. Odd that police or security could not have put an end to it for the benefit of guests in this hotel, the nearby hotel and really the entire neighbourhood. (83 reviews) I stayed at Hotel Solar do Conde and, unfortunately, the experience was not what I had hoped for. The biggest issue was the bed: the “double” was only 137 cm wide, which feels more like something from generations ago than a modern hotel standard. For a stay in 2025, it was surprisingly small and uncomfortable, especially for two adults. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was quite nice, with a decent variety and good quality. However, a good breakfast doesn’t make up for a poor night’s sleep. Given the outdated room comfort, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are better options in the area that offer more modern amenities and a more comfortable stay.
