A total of up to 11 guests can be accommodated here in comfort and style. The views over the famous Tramuntana mountains from El Bikoro are absolutely breathtaking, and you enjoy your own private swimming pool and tennis court. El Bikoro really does offer you an authentic taste of the ‘Real Spain’. The most magical of it\`s buildings has to be the ancient circular stone tower. This spectacular edifice has been transformed into a large, villa-like property with 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom, an office/living room, and a kitchenette. The large tower itself is divided into three levels, all connected by staircases, and all featuring lovely solid wood antique furniture. The main living area is overlooked from the floor above, where pride of place is an open interior balcony featuring an extensive library. How many people can say they’ve stayed in such a unique, historic property? It certainly is a different experience, although it should be noted that the ‘tower’ accommodation is not suitable for young children. The largest of El Bikoro’s buildings is the 4-bedroom casita which features two double bedrooms, a further two twin bedrooms suitable for children, as well as a cosy kitchen/diner. The décor throughout El Bikoro is the epitome of traditional Spain. Exposed wooden beams, traditional whitewashed walls, terracotta tiled floors, old maps on the wall… just perfect for enjoying the peace and quiet away from the crowds. The outside of the El Bikoro private estate is no less spectacular. The huge gardens are lush, mature and peaceful. Lush green lawns, tall palm trees, leafy paths, paved walkways and gorgeous traditional terraces all combine to add a touch of magic to the place. There are many seated shady areas too, if you want to escape with your thoughts into a delightful private place. And don’t forget the swimming pool! The dimensions of the pool are 8m x 15m and the depth is between 1m to 2.40m, it’s large enough for healthy exercise, and also great for cooling off during the hot summer months. Around the pool you’ll find lots of sun loungers as well as a covered terrace complete with BBQ and dining area. If you’re feeling active (and not a little competitive) the near professional size, tree-lined tennis court is there to challenge you. The extensive grounds of El Bikoro also feature a lovely large circular covered terrace area set in a natural forest. We enjoyed the pool area and tennis court and the overall space and the lovely pots and flowers, outdoor seating areas etcWe didn’t however fully appreciate the disjointed living space with some bedrooms in the tower and some in converted buildings There were several kitchens whereas one central one would have been better The living quarters were rather smelly and mouldy at first as though the place had been unoccupied and not aired properly. This did disappear after a few days. The bathrooms in the block with 4 bedrooms were rather tired and in need of updating and the shower over the bath didn’t work very wellThe bedding also needed to be more appropriate to the climate. The duvets and quilts were very heavy and some cotton sheets would have been lovely.Finally, the directions could be improved as everyone got lost on arrival and sometimes in the evening although the pots along the drive were a useful landmark coming from the Port ##### Susan W. Lots of space all round. For our November booking the lounge area wood chip burner was fantastic. Morning dips in the pool were exhilarating at 16°! We didn’t pay for heating but grateful it was still open for use. Due to a couple of electric rain storms there were a couple of outages but these were sorted quickly by Miguel. If the wood chip burner in the kitchen worked it would have been even better. Huge wonderful gardens, great shaded poolside dining area and very large pool deep enough for diving as well as shallow end. Plus an excellent tennis court - the perfect villa for an extended family.Just about walking distance to beach but taxis good. Fabulous dining in Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa- no need to travel far.
