Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)

We had a great stay in this guesthouse. The guys were excellent hosts. I was nursing an injury from the the Camino and they were really kind and helpful. When we first arrived, hot and tired, we were greeted with a cool drink in the shade and we knew that we were in the right place. Tu has good local knowledge and helped with things like dinner reservations and fresh fruit from their orchard. We would definitely recommend this little oasis.

Philippe was a welcoming and wonderful host. Even though we arrived a little later than planned, Philippe took the time to show us on the map where to go for dinner, showed us our room and the facilities and didn’t rush us in anyway. This place is absolutely stunning. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There is no dinner service but decent places to eat within a 5 minute drive. Only one minor complaint and that was the cheap towels. Otherwise 5*

This is a singularly perfect hotel, service, food, rooms, location are all exceptional. The staff are attentive with grace and warmth of a family château and I would highly recommend a stay here.

All the staff and the welcome was seriously first class and went way beyond even relais and chateau standards where we usually choose to stay. Very genuine and impressive. Deborah at breakfast deserves a special mention. As the hotel is mainly round a beautiful courtyard it could be a little noisy at times. Very comfortable bed and super linens. bath towels a little small. Would absolutely recommend. we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'hôtes La Tillaie and would not hesitate to recommend it. The property has been beautifully renovated, combining character and charm with every modern comfort. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large, very comfortable bed. Location, facilities and the design of the gardens and interior

Very welcoming. Lovely grounds and layout for the houses/rooms. We loved our little 2 bed. We walked 25 mins to the local supermarket and then had dinner outside in the garden whilst our little one slept upstairs. All round, it was perfect for what we needed.

Perfect location for visiting friends nearby. Easy to find, nicely equipped, with a relaxed rustic charm. Would stay again if I'm nearby.
