"Very new hotel when we stayed there. Great price for the king suite. Only feedback is the hotel room doors slam really loud and it took quite a bit of time to get someone to check us in. We would stay there again."
"TL;DR: If you are looking for a clean, cheap, safe, and discreet place to stay while shopping or visiting, this is a great option. If you are looking for an upscale place that will impress, with a pool and stuff to entertain the kids, look elsewhere.
I have stayed here many times now, as it is the least expensive safe hotel in Eau Claire. For those thinking about booking here, here's the skinny.
Pros: It's clean (except for glass on outside doors), pets stay free, the staff is good, it's in a great location with lots of walkable restaurants and such, it's right across from the hospital, it has lots of parking, and the AC is fantastic.
Cons: it's not the quietest (but not loud), it's a little dilapidated, the hallways tend to have a weedy aroma, and the landscaping leaves something to be desired."
Beautiful private Tainter Lake Retreat in Western WI. Sleeps 10
10/10 Excellent
"It was a great place for our family. It was our favorite place with our family. It was clean and nice and 2 kitchens were great! The Host was very easy to plan with before our trip and during. We loved it very much. Thanks,"
"We stayed from July 1st to the 5th. Everything was perfect when we arrived.
When we tried the television it wasn’t set up properly. We received help; management came and the only way we could use it was to have 2 remotes. We had trouble several times and had to call. Management was never able to set up with one remote.
Staying 5 days with 3 people, our room was never cleaned; we had to ask every day for more towels, soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, or we got them ourselves. Waste baskets were never emptied; we did it ourselves.
My husband was most upset because there was no flag hung on the flagpole; even on Independence Day to honor the 250th anniversary of our country’s independence."
