Contemporary Cozy Chalet cabin within the beautiful Arrowhead Lake Community in the Pocono Mountains. Enjoy your stay in this resort-style home close to Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Camelback, whitewater rafting, Hunting/game lands, skiing/snowboarding, tubing, wineries, golf, disc golf, and more. Take in the fall foliage (fall colors), plan an adventure, take a romantic getaway or a fun family trip! This home and community are FULL of AMENITIES (private deck, grill, fire pit, the community has pools, beaches, rental kayaks, SUP/Paddleboards, etc) & more! A work-from-home friendly vacation home that is within walking distance to trailheads leading to state game lands and Brady Lake hiking trails. THE SPACE This beautifully decorated and spacious chalet has an open floor style with soaring vaulted ceilings. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances: refrigerator with filtered water & ice maker, crock-pot, Keurig-k duo coffee maker (single serve & 12 cup carafe), and all cooking essentials provided! This house includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a large bonus loft with futon. It will be ready with clean hotel-quality bedding and bath linens & towels for your arrival. Get comfortable & relax next to the gas fireplace; watch your favorite TV program on one of the 4 smart TVs (Netflix, Starz, Disney+) or play a board game with your family and friends. This home sits on an oversized corner lot surrounded by an undeveloped lot for more privacy than most homes in this community with plenty of off-street parking for up to 8 cars. Outside you will find a large private deck, seating areas, a gas grill, and large private firepit area with seating. Check in is at 4pm but you’re welcome to arrive at the community as soon as 12PM to use the community beaches, pools and lodge. Relax, you're on lake time - Come, enjoy, and have fun! IMPORTANT: Community Fees: As of 1/1/23 all of the community fees are to be paid by the homeowner on behalf of renters no less than 3 full days prior to arrival. To pay these fees, we need the names of vehicle drivers and all vehicle information for your party so we can pay the fees on your behalf or you will not be permitted to enter the community. The price listed here includes up to 6 guests, 2 cars. (Most properties charge these as additional add-on fees so read listings carefully when choosing your vacation home.) Lake beaches allow all inflatable rafts and toys, kayaks and paddleboards, numerous playgrounds, Tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, and horseshoe pits. The Lodge is the focal point for a long list of events throughout the year including live music, cookouts, karaoke, movies and educational programs, the Fitness Center, Adult Billiards Room and Library, etc. A "Family Game Room" is available at the Welcome Center Lower Level and features ping pong, air hockey, pool tables and kid's games. The Rental Shack (located at the Island Pool)- Open daily (during the summer season) to rent row boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing equipment, bicycles, and sports equipment -Cash Only! / Closed for the winter season. Golf carts are permitted and can be rented for the duration of your stay from a local vendor (Pocono Motorsports). Fishing: All anglers 16 and up must have a PA fishing license. Our group consisted of me and my spouse, our 2 kids and the grandparents. All enjoyed the house. We have stayed at many rentals in Arrowhead Lake, and this house was the most clean and had the most items to get you started - garbage bags, coffee, soap, etc. It’s the little things like this, that really matter! So very clean and it had everything we could have wanted from a super star fire pit to all misc items needed for a great trip. Leak was not major. However, it did take time to clean up, left a bathroom unusable, and the dripping sound left the master bedroom unusable as well. We do not blame the owner who did respond quickly. However, it is shocking that there was no offer to rebate some of what we paid. ##### david m. We really appreciated that everything was included in the price we paid on the VRBO site, including all the Arrowhead Community fees. This was the only property we looked at on multiple sites that included all of the costs up front. The owners were also very responsive in answering our many questions prior to our stay. We rented the house to have time with our adult daughters and grandkids to celebrate a family birthday. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and outdoor areas around the house, especially the fire pit where we made s’mores. The gated deck was appreciated with a couple of toddlers who wanted to be outside all of the time. The kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals. The neighborhood was peaceful. The house was comfortable for the six adults and two kids we had staying there, including ample space for dining both inside and out on the deck. We would recommend it to anyone looking to rent in the area. We wished we were able to stay longer to enjoy more of the amenities the community has to offer. ##### Christie D. It was beautiful! Very clean and well kept. You can tell the hosts/ owners care about their property, and the guests that stay in it. The details and added amenities show they get the hospitality industry. Their personal attention and immediate response show they get the kindness and caring aspect of hosting guests. We went boating, swimming, hiking, and enjoyed smores out at the fire pit. Deer visited us frequently with their quiet and gentle energy. We had time for family puzzles, meals, karaoke, and quiet reflective moments here. It was all anyone could want in a family vacation. We don't all live close so this was a treasure. One word that kept coming up in conversations was peaceful. This home and its environment was very peaceful. It's what is missing in the daily hustle and bustle of life. The Ferguson's get it, and they have created the perfect oasis here. We are already talking about coming back and making this our family "go to place." Thank you again Ken and Carrie! ##### Cathy W. We had a great visit, a quiet week, walking to the trails in the gamelands every day right from the house. We went food shopping at the beginning of the week, and enjoyed the quiet and solitude of being tucked away in the back of the development. We've stayed in Arrowhead lakes in the past, and I think we agreed that it was our best visit yet. We also agreed this would have been the most family friendly of the houses we've stayed at in Arrowhead lakes, and look forward to bringing our families next time! ##### Michael G. They were excellent hosts who were very responsive and accomodating before and throughout our stay. The house had everything we needed. The indoor space was lovely, the fireplace was delightful at night and the screened room was great during the day. The outdoor firepit area was also very nice. The property felt very private and was easy to get to once we learned the route. As great as it was in the fall, we'd bet it will be even better in the summer when the pools and lake activities are open.
