Other things to note Arrowhead Lake Community Fees are mandatory and beyond our jurisdiction. (These are additional fees paid directly to the Association at Arrowhead Lake) Transaction Fee (per rental): $20 Gate Card Fee (per vehicle): $20 Temporary Membership Fee (ages 6 and older): \--> $2.00 daily off-season \--> $8.50 daily ($42.50 weekly) in-season (In-season runs from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend) —> There’s a $100 late fee charge for registration within 3 days of arrival Please provide the following information upon making your reservation: \*Total number of guests \*Number of guests over 6 years of age \*Number of vehicles \*Driver of vehicle name \*Vehicle year, make and model \*State & License plate Renters will be denied access to the Community if registration and payment is not received 5 days prior to arrival. There are absolutely NO other guests allowed on premise aside from who is on your rental agreement. This is for safety purposes. There are cameras on the property and this will be strictly enforced and will result in fines/extra charges ★ Seasonal details/notes : Outdoor patio furniture will be available until November 1st. We have chairs readily available for the outdoor fire pit. Thermostat is regulated by at a comfortable setting. It is set to 70 degrees during the winter. We do provide guests with portable space heaters for your comfort if you feel more heat is needed. The air-conditioners will be removed starting fall season as it gets quite cold in the area :) THINGS TO BRING: \-Pool Towels during pool opening season \-Aluminum foil and things of that nature if you will be using the grill or cooking \-We do provide a water cooler as a courtesy. In the event the cooler is empty, it would be your responsibility to provide your own water, as it’s not replaced on an as needed basis. ★ Additional details : If you have an electric vehicle that needs to charge, there is an additional $20 per day per charge fee There are lots of wildlife roaming about while staying at the cottage. Deer, bear and so much more! Please remember to clean up food items eaten outdoors so that you are not surprised by a furry guest! The house was incredibly clean, and came with everything we could have possibly needed for our trip. The host was exceptionally responsive and super helpful as I forgot to bring the entry code to the cabin. She made us feel welcome with checking in and giving us tips on places to visit. We were particularly impressed with all the amenities, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and hot shower. For the coffee lover, having morning options was a nice touch. For anyone who finds themselves cold in the fall and winter, the house was cozy with the option of using the portable heaters or the fireplace (request ahead if wood is needed for your stay). The cottage was so lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of our cooking needs. The cottage was decorated so beautifully and the furniture was so comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the lake during the day and sitting by the firepit at night to make s'mores. This cottage was nature at its best. We saw deer right on the property. It is not completely remote location, but feels secluded and the road it's on is quiet. Instructions for getting access and checking in/out were very clear. Most essentials were there and ready for us as needed - but do read the fine print - you may want to preemptively bring your own drinking water. There's also a little shop 5min away if you're missing anything. Inside space was dog-friendly, and there's even a partially-fenced front yard. When we weren't out hiking with them (10min to the trailhead in a state forest) our pups spent a lot of time staring out the back glass doors at the deer and other wildlife.The host was VERY responsive and even helped reach out to local groups after our one dog slipped his leash and temporarily went missing. Really really appreciate this, as we were so panicked until we found him! Also shout-out to the community - everyone we spoke with during the incident was sympathetic and happy to help.Our only complaint (which seems small by comparison) was that the water never got hot, so showers were a bit of a cold plunge.Otherwise, would recommend and stay again if we return to the area! ##### Talia P. Within walking distance of lake access. So nice that it was pet friendly too, though the front fence is not fully fenced in (we improvised a temporary gate for the dog). Water dispenser was empty but tap water was surprisingly fantastic - I wanted to bottle it! Karan was very communicative and answered our questions quickly. We’d stay here again. ##### Sheila F. We ALL had a great stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room inside and out. Our dogs loved running around the property. It’s surrounded by woods. You have everything you need to cook. Karan was a wonderful host. He was so kind to send us recommendations in the area. He even went above and beyond to see if they we dog friendly😁.
