The room was quite well proportioned and despite being over the public bar was not noisy. Was close to the bus stop which saved us driving into Brighton and trying to find a park. Meals were good and breakfast very generous. Overall good value for money

We stayed on Thursday and Friday 9th to11th April. The receptionist described our room as deluxe, it was more like bijou, in other words small. Staff were very friendly. The bar wasn’t individually manned, and there was no night staff on site. In our opinion, this gave the premises the impression of a B and B pretending to be an hotel . Parking was easy, and cooked breakfasts were lovely. Location was great . If The Drake wants to be more like an hotel it should employ full time bar staff ( get in draught beers) and have on site night staff.
