Hotel well located for easy access to the town centre and the barbican (marina). Appx 20min walk from train station. Rooms always stocked with tea etc & iron & ironing board in rooms.

The room was very untidy. Found an old sock behind the curtains when I closed them. The room I was in was very noisy from the road at the front. The staff are very friendly and nice though and the breakfast is ok.

I don’t have a bad word to say about the New Continental hotel. From the Welcome to the departure. The rooms are lovely and the staff friendly .. the food at Steve’s Brasserie is fabulous. We stay here every time we visit Plymouth

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was lovely, and the lady at the reception was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and good selection available. The only downfall, disappointed to find that the four poster bed did not have any curtains as shown in their website.

The room as amazing clean great size. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has everything you need. This is the second time staying here best hotel in plymouth it’s clean fresh airy beds are so comfy best nights sleep could have slept all day in that bed.

Arrived and met by friendly staff. However on entering the room could clearly see room was dated and requires an overhaul. Brown carpet - stained and dirty in many areas. Furniture chipped and dated. Bed extremely uncomfortable and mattress topper has been added however mattress had fold in the middle and lumps - very uncomfortable. Curtain are not blackout and office opposite has digital adverts going all night so constant flashing of lights through curtains. Bath - which we paid extra for full of mould / mildew. Expensive for poor quality. Have feedback to staff however was informed they could have changed the room but explained it was past 11pm . Breakfast was really good and parking to the rear of the property . Won’t be staying again as it needs money ploughing into updating things

Great central location. Reception was welcoming. The old building is quirky. Clean room. Personally found room, 2nd floor, too hot. Even with radiators off in December. Fantastic powerful shower. Fluffy towels. Plentiful coffee and tea plus biscuits.
