"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. "Well kept, comfortable room in the center of town with walking access to the best Detmold has to offer. Be warned. It’s an old city, so parking may be a couple blocks away. And there is no elevator. Otherwise, perfect."
