Nature lovers, hikers. Mountain bikers, fun pool visitors ... Our holiday home has a large terrace with a south-facing garden, so that you get a lot of sunlight from morning to evening. You can see the green from the living room and the terrace without any neighbors being able to look at the terrace or the living room. Since the village of Selscheid is quite high on a mountain, the sun sets much later than in the valley. Here you will find a lot of peace and can relax from everyday stress. Our "Ferienhaus Selscheid" is not only suitable for 2 people or small families, but also ideal for large families. A maximum of 10 people can live here (7 adults and 1 child on the upper floor in 4 bedrooms, and another 2 adults in the "extra room" / bedroom 5, with separate entrance and private bathroom - but this must be rented separately - for EUR 10 / Night and once EUR 20 for final cleaning). There are 2 TVs available - one is in the living room, the other in a bedroom. A DVD player also belongs to the television in the living room - DVDs are also available. There is an extra play room for children with enough toys (for children from 1 to 6 years old). The washing machine is in the basement. The basement also serves as a storage for a high chair, u. V. M. Our "Ferienhaus Selscheid" is geared towards self-catering. You can park your car directly in front of the house - there are covered parking spaces for 2 cars. Internet (WiFi) and a telephone are also available free of charge, with which you can call nationwide to the German landline network free of charge, as well as be called by your relatives. If you would like to rent bed linen from us, this would cost EUR 10 per person once. We hebben een goed verblijf gehad. Wel enige op-/aanmerkingen: het extra bij te boeken appartement bleek een stapelbedkamer te zijn, dat was iets jammer voor mijn ouders, die dachten zich iets terug te kunnen trekken. Een kind leg je niet alleen 2 verdiepingen lager, dus geen toegevoegde waarde….Het servies is een bijeen geraapt iets en niet toereikend voor 8 a 10 personen (2 theekoppen, 5 borden en allerlei mokken wat over was) En bij binnenkomst viel het aantal geurstokjes op, alsof er iets gemarkeerd moest worden….. en dat bleek ook wel want de diesel (benzine?) geur uit de kelderruimte, trok door het hele huis…..De parkeerruimte wordt aangegeven voor twee auto’s maar ze moeten bijna in elkaar geparkeerd worden omdat er ruimte vrijgehouden moet worden voor een andere auto. Onze tip: kijk even kritisch rond in het huis en pas wat verbeterpuntjes toe (ook een losse wc pot en hier en daar wat lampen stuk) want verder is het een heel leuk huis! Bovenverdieping met slaapkamers en badkamer is erg netjes, super dat de bedden opgemaakt waren! Tennistafel viel ook erg in de smaak! Mooie besloten tuin. Sehr genossen würde an kühlen Abenden der Kaminofen, der den Aufenthaltsraum sehr behaglich macht. Auf der Terrasse lässt sich prima Grillen und entspannen. Für den Ess- und Terrassenbreich sollten die Sitzplätze für Zahl von 8 Personen neu eingerichtet werden. Wir konnten vom Haus aus direkt eine Wanderung (Kommot: ca. 12 Km) starten, die uns mit sehr schönen Aussichten begeistert hat. Der Vermieter war stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und kooperativ. Das Ferienhaus war in einem sehr guten Zustand und die Lage ist Top. Besonders der Kontakt und die gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war wirklich klasse. Jederzeit würden wir hier wieder buchen und können das Haus und den Vermieter nur weiter empfehlen.
