"The place is located outside of Halifax, about 45 minutes drive. Just far enough to be a quiet place and not too far to get to Halifax and visit. We had the "cottage" equiped with a small kitchen. Very well maintained and clean. The bed was a bit too "soft" for me, but that is a question of personnal comfort. The place also server diner and the food is excellent. Breakfast are nice and in good enough quantity. I wold recommand any time"

"The house was exactly as listed and the view is spectacular. There were many thoughtful amenities and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. There were more than enough towels etc for the 6 of us. Our host was very kind and responsive."

"When we arrived at the property, we were extremely happy to see that it was exactly as represented in the VRBO display. The house sits on a peninsula with water on three sides with an incredible view of the bay. The interior is extremely attractive with the kitchen having all necessary, cookware and glassware. Note that the upstairs sleeping area is open to the below area, but I ended up sleeping in the bedroom downstairs that was fully enclosed. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the shower was roomy with good pressure. The owner was easy to communicate with and we found our stay to be serene and beautiful. Note that the home is 6 miles off the main road, which offers the incredible peace and serenity we found there. There is a supermarket and sports bar restaurant within 15 minutes from the property. This property is highly recommended for a stay in the east shore."
