"Beautiful property in SJDS . As a family of 4 with 2 kids under 10 this had everything we needed . Food is on the pricier side but one breakfast drink & item is included daily with your stay (portions were big) . Daily shuttle will take you closer to the beach as it is not walking distance. Unfortunately, some of the things advertised on their social media such as “access to a private beach” were not accessible , they could not get us a shuttle to the private beach or provide a clear follow up on why so that was kind of a bummer. Otherwise, the resort itself was amazing."

"This hotel is great and a great bargain. The staff is super helpful, management is very flexible and accomodating (they worked with us so that we could have breakfast earlier than they open), the views are amazing and the place is very spacious, which is great for families with kids who like to explore and play freely outdoors. The one constraint worth mentioning is that depending on where your house is located on the property, it can be a 20-25 minute walk on a hill to the town, which can be tricky to navigate with food. That said, if you have a car, that will not be an issue and you can always get a local taxi to help you out. I still highly recommend this hotel and it's definitely worth 5 stars in my book!"

You’re a two minute walk from everywhere downtown laundry restaurants, shops location is amazing. Ya gotta stay here…. You won’t regret it. !!! "I recently stayed at Villa Delfin and family at Villa Mariposa again, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Having stayed here before, I can honestly say it remains one of my favorite places to visit. The villa is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere.One of the highlights of this property is the incredible ocean view. Waking up each day to the stunning scenery and being able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings made the stay especially memorable. The view alone is worth the visit. Because the villa is located in a natural tropical setting by the ocean, it is also worth noting that seeing some bugs, insects or even ocean creatures in thesurrounding environment is completely normal and simply part of the experience of being so close to nature.The staff were also outstanding throughout my stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality and attentive service made me feel right at home and added so much to the overall experience.1 absolutely love this villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking ocean views and exceptional service. I look forward to returning again in the future."
