"The staff was friendly and tended to our concerns promptly. Unfortunately, there were many issues. Biggest one was that as of about midnight, we had no water. When I reported it in the morning, they fixed it right away. Minor issue was the TV remote power button didn’t work. They give you one bath towel per guest. We were told that the check in was at 2pm; however, the house was not ready until 4pm, then the pics that shows multiple bunkbeds is also incorrect as there were only two mattresses directly on the floor. "It was advertised as a retreat but they played loud music constantly. The chairs around the pool were all switched to uncomfortable wood ones, and while our room was technically clean it stunk so badly of bleach. If the music was calming and they had comfortable seats I’d recommend it. "

"The host Martin was very helpful prior to our trip and the staff at the house were great! The outside and pool area had lots of space for all 10 of us and the location was a quick walk down the beach to all the restaurants and bars in SJDS. The inside was large and well laid out but a bit tired. The house could use a spruce up, especially the kitchen. We had an issue with one of the toilets but it was addressed in a timely manner. We had a local chef Felicita some and make several breakfasts and dinners and I could not recommend her enough. A great stay overall!"
