"LOVED my stay. I locked myself out of the safe and the room within the first hour of me checking in and they were patient and quick with helping me. Staff is amazing. I love staying at boutique hotels close to everything but far enough away for the quiet. The beach area was set up so cute with the lights and the pool area was always clean and personable. My only con is that the rooms are small. Perfect for solo travelers but wouldn’t be enough space for a girls trip or more than one person (to me). Would definitely choose this hotel to stay again. "

"Infinity pool looking over the bay is 10/10. Juan Jose also great bartender. The ability to get into Langosta also makes this hotel 100% worth it even though its not beachside"

"The food was why I took off a star. Buffet same every day and not all That appealing but the reserve sushi and especially the Italian was dreadful. The Italian was below average ranging to actually not edible. From crunchy gnocchi soup to stale sprinkle on mushy tiramisu. Not good at all. Don't do it if you are going to serve tiny portions that are gross."

"Our winter was long, cold and snowy so we wanted a guaranteed warm-weather vacation. After much research so glad we chose this one. Gorgeous, roomy condo with breathtaking views of the sunset over the ocean. Constant melodic waves, refreshing penthouse patio breezes day and night. Very cooling air conditioned units throughout. Completely stocked including beach towels and chairs, full kitchen with appliances galore. Even a printer should you need it! Porch off the beautiful master bedroom with dining table and grille outside where we had morning coffee and cooked. Porch off the master bedroom upstairs where we watched the sunset then stars at night with fishing boats in the distance. Someone was available at all times should any need arise. Extremely courteous gatekeepers watching over us 24/7. Groundskeeper worked daily to keep the pool, lawn and flora immaculate, even raking the wooded trail in the woods to the sandy beach/estuary. Entire condo decorated (in my opinion) professionally (and in my taste!). Many restaurants to walk to with delicious food everywhere. We have traveled with, and without, my RCI timeshare exchanges throughout eastern US and the Caribbean for the past 25 years and have never stayed at a place as lovely as this one. Three weeks here was paradise. Thank you all for this amazing vacation!! Suggestions: Bring water shoes if you want to walk the rocks at low tide. Also, lots of TV streaming network options so bring your passcodes."

"Everything at Capitan Suizo was amazing. Perfect location on the beach. Stayed in bungalow with beautiful garden views. Beds very comfortable. Outdoor shower took a little getting used to but after a couple of days my girls and I enjoyed listening to the sounds of Howler monkeys and birds while showering. Breakfast was delicious and we ate outside watching the ocean every morning. We would lay out in the lounge chairs under a little shade steps away from the ocean and from the restaurant/bar. When we weren’t on the beach we swam in the pool which was super clean. Had a full body massage one day at the spa which was incredible. Went back to spa on another day for a collagen facial. All the staff were so gracious and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are coming to Tamarindo, you will thank yourself for staying here!"

"Spacious apartment at the best location possible; steps from the beach. Nice king size bed. We have stayed at the Bahia Langosta before ( several different apartments), this one was 10 out of 10! Ricardo is friendly and a responsive host."

This location is close to beaches and restaurants but is also 1 to 3 hours from more beaches and national parks. Communication was spectacular!
