"Probably one of the most beautifully designed homes we've ever stayed in through Vrbo. Structurally solid as well. It's the kind of place you never have to leave to have a good time. Management is incredibly accommodating and prompt in responding. The only issue was that maintenance was slow to address a few issues. Main problem was the light over the stove was never repaired - probably not an issue for most but as a couple of are serious chefs in the kitchen it was a little troublesome. Would definitely come back or try some of their other properties."

"LOVED the indoor/outdoor open space of the living areas. Swam in the pool and sat in the sauna every day. Walked down every evening to the small neighborhood beach to watch the sunset. Grilled dinner in the outdoor casita and when we wanted to take surf lessons we headed down to Playa Avellanas. Spent wonderful time at Hacienda Pinilla beach club, which was lovely for swimming, lounging, cocktails and dining. The Vida Pinilla concierge team was excellent and made arrival and activities so easy. So relaxing! Highly recommend The Tides Villa! We’ll be back- Thank you"

"Villa Allegra is the place to be! We traveled with 3 families, 14 people, 8 kids, 6 adults and the house was the perfect setup! A short walk to the beach(which is rocky but great for exploring) to a short golf cart ride to the beach club, everyone loved it, the beach was perfect there! From checking in, planning excursions, coordinating private chefs, Elsa your private concierge will go above and beyond to make your vacation a memorable one with no headaches! Any request was answered immediately and if we had any issues she was always there to remedy the situation quickly and efficiently! Alexa our house mom was amazing. When you are a mom and do all the things it’s such a treat to have someone else be you! Also, she was always smiling and her willingness to do whatever you may need was top notch. Her breakfast and snacks were on point as well! This was a long planned vacation and everything exceeded all our expectations! We will be visiting again! Pura Vida! 殮"

"The house was great. We loved the club house and Avellana beach. Unfortunately there were road closures during our stay which made getting into town and to all our booked excursions challenging (long drives on dirt roads), other than that it was perfect!"

"We had a great time at El Respiro. The house is large, well equipped and comfortable. We did not have any issues, but Alejandro was a very communicative and approachable host from early until check out. We will definitely look for this house again in our next beach holiday!"

"By far, my family said this was the best vacation they’ve ever been on. The home was absolutely beautiful. There were 15 of us and we had plenty of room. Our Host, Elsa went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a smooth process. We would definitely go back again someday. Our house moms were wonderful. It was great to wake up every morning and have your breakfast made and served."

"Property was beautiful and spacious as advertised. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and the black out shades were a plus. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The overall area of hacienda pinilla was nicely maintained and some of the best roads we found in Costa Rica. No real markets or restaurants too close, but there are options within a short drive. The JW Marriott also has 4 nice restaurants which appeared to be a little pricey until we ate in Tamarindo, which was also pricey, but not any different than a large US city. Also found out that the JW Marriott restaurants gave 10% off if you mention you were staying in Hacienda Pinilla. Golf course was in a beautiful area, but due to the dry season, the fairways and greens were in poor shape, but they did offer a reduced price. Drive from Liberia was an experience and it seems that Google does not route you through Hacienda Pinilla as it is a gateed community, which makes the drive longer and over a lot of dirt roads. Once we pinned the gate house, we could get in and out of the area much quicker. Overall, I highly recommend this property."
