An outstanding stay! 🔝 From my first interaction with Diana at the front desk, whom I contacted before arrival to confirm a few details, all the way through check-out, everything was excellent. If you are looking for a pleasant stay, personalized attention, exceptional service, a convenient location, and a peaceful atmosphere, this is an excellent choice. A very special mention goes to Diana, our concierge, who was consistently attentive to every detail and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Proactive, diligent, respectful, helpful, and always wearing a smile. A true example of outstanding hospitality! We would also like to recognize Yuneiry, from the pool bar, for her kindness and friendly service. The hotel is relatively small but very functional. The rooms are incredibly spacious (we stayed in a Junior Suite), modern, well-equipped, and feature an exceptionally comfortable bed. The balcony also offered a lovely view. Overall, the property is beautiful and very well maintained. It features two swimming pools, several à la carte dinner restaurants (during our stay, only the Italian restaurant was open, and the food was very good), as well as transportation to Juanillo Beach. Its location at the Marina provides a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would definitely return! We also had the opportunity to visit Time Out Wellness Spa (not included in the stay), where we enjoyed a hydrotherapy circuit. It was an incredibly relax

The AC did not get very cold. There were also very few places that had AC to find relief from the heat. The Buffet is all outside and it was sweltering. Even with the fan on, we were sweating at night with the blankets. The pool was disgusting, floating plastic cups, lots of dead bugs, and random trash. The food wasn't 5 star level at all. The room service was inedible. The paella was really good and some of the restaurants had some good options. I found myself not eating many things, because they tasted gross. As an example, they used ketchup for the shrimp cocktail dipping sauce. The staff was not very helpful and any questions (activities, reservations, etc.). I tried attending many different listed activities (cocktail workshop, etc.) and no staff member knew what I was asking about. The entertainment was really good and the drinks were good! This place is a 3 star. Not a 5 star, luxury resort like they advertise. I would not stay here again or recommend this resort. I would look elsewhere.

We had an amazing time at Ocean El Faro! It was such a lovely family getaway, and we came home with wonderful memories. We enjoyed trying the different restaurants, and the steaks at the steakhouse were definitely our favourite! A special thank you to our butler, Hector, for taking care of us throughout our stay. He was a huge help with booking our restaurant reservations and was always there whenever we needed assistance. We did encounter a few problems with our room, but we truly appreciated his willingness to help whenever we brought up a concern. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely come back! Thank you, Hector and the Ocean El Faro team, for making our family vacation a memorable one.
