The house itself meets your every need and the views lend to it being an all around enjoyable time for you and you family.
We hope to stay here again sometime in the future.
Thank you for the use of your home.
We loved being so close to the river. Our dogs got to swim every day so they were happy!! The house was clean and supplied with so much! This is were you go to get away from everything!
This cabin was a thing out of a dream. Nestled in the mountains, quietly sitting on a river bank, this cabin is your next getaway from it all. We had an absolute blast exploring the nearby forests, finding cool rocks, and watching eagles soar over us.
Wonderful private location for this Cabin on the River. The kids had a blast fishing and playing outside. The cabin had all the entertainment a kid could want using creativity. Thank you for such a memorable vacation.
Beautiful, riverside getaway on the Clark Fork outside of Plains. Quiet, secluded spot to sit on the porch and enjoy the river rolling by. Very nice cabin with everything you need to enjoy your time. Beautiful view of the river. Would definitely return.
This property is our favorite getaway. Rosemary and Dan provide everything needed to have a perfect vacation. The view is stunning, the home is cozy and the porch overlooking the Clark Fork river is beautiful. We spent our honeymoon here and the left us champagne and chocolates to celebrate!
We had a great time at the cabin. It was very well stocked and so comfortable, even when it was 100 degrees outside. The AC units worked perfectly. The river was much fun for all of us and it was very peaceful. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay here. House was clean along with beds, blankets, towels and kitchen. Views are amazing! Being right on the water is great. The property is secluded far from town. Owner was quick to respond to my questions before we arrived at the property. We would stay here again. Thanks for letting us borrow your house.
Cabin was well maintained, very clean, well supplied with everything that could be needed during a stay, and comfortably furnished. Very relaxing and hypnotic to watch the river flowing. Saw geese, deer, and a skunk. Cabin was a bit farther from the town of Plains than we thought, although we didn’t have any touring planned. We mainly wanted to get away from regular daily life and just enjoy nature. Perfect for that reason.
This house is lovely and immaculate. We loved our stay here. Anything you could possibly need is here. We don’t have little ones but if you do, it looks like you’re all set with equipment and games. There are so many thoughtful touches everywhere. I was particularly appreciative of the kitchen appliances. They are top notch. You can tell that the owners love this house. It is very well maintained and very well built. Communication with Rosemary was excellent. We would love to come back.
We met up with our grandkids at this most amazing cabin right on the river and created memories for all of us that will last a lifetime! The kitchen was completely stocked for me to prepare every family meal. The cabin was complete with Bucky, the moose and comfortable beds for all six of us. We swam in the river, barbecued in the grill and in the evening, sat on the porch and watched the eagles soar by. We watched movies and played games that were all provided that made our time together so amazing. Thank you to Rebecca and Dan for sharing your piece of heaven with us these last four days!
The photos and description do not do this cabin justice! We were there during 100* heat wave and the AC made the cabin perfect. The river is steps outside your door, and there is an eddy right at the shore that makes the water stand still. Sandy shore perfect for entry. The hosts were amazing and helped with everything we needed. Adorable inside with cute gifts and a touch of home. You feel like they are family. We taught our doggo how to paddleboard right off their shore! Very private area. We saw at least 3 pairs of bald eagles fishing the river. Dont hesitate to book this place. You will NOT regret it!
We are from Great Falls, MT and stayed at the cabin for a weekend getaway after losing our beloved 12 year old dog. Rosemary responded very quickly and was so kind. We brought our younger dog and loved how dog friendly the property was, there were blankets and bowls and they provided bags and everything. Best stocked Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at, even down to providing butter in the fridge and bottled water. They are so generous in providing plenty of amenities and we had a wonderful time. The property is a ways down a scenic county road and is paved completely until the last quarter mile or so. It’s a beautiful drive in and out. It was quiet and peaceful and clean. We loved sitting by the water and even loved watching the trains go by. You can tell their cabin is a family treasure and it is so inviting and welcoming. We will definitely be back again!
Very well maintained and stocked with additional items that are above the normal. Coffee supplies, condiments, a little welcome gift. Very clean and comfortable which felt like home. Above and beyond our expectations. Rosemary was prompt at communicating whenever I sent a message and I am grateful for that. Super clean and such beautiful views. The river was cold, high, and fast during late June.
Some things I wish I would’ve known before our trip was the commute time back to the closest town for supplies and eating out is about 35 minutes one way. We were not prepared to do much cooking and rather enjoy the small community restaurants. We quickly learned that everything closes up early or was closed on weekends. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available and we survived another outing. There is a small little cove to launch kayaks about 3 miles away from the cabin that we discovered late in to our trip.
We would return again for another vacation getaway during the summer months when the water level was lower. Memories made and another adventure in the books!
Very relaxing and the cabin was really nice and well set up. Beautiful scenery off the deck and around the property. Great spot for fishing or swimming in the Clark Fork River. Would Strongly recommend.
This remote cabin is on a beautiful and peaceful river. It has comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and a well stocked kitchen. My family enjoyed playing games and watching the trains go by across the river. We were heading back to Washington from a 16 day road trip and it was the perfect place to end our vacation.
