About this property

Relax and make magical memories at Our Riverfront Retreat!

  • From the moment you step out of your car you will relax and know you made the right choice! The view is spectactular from every angle. It is our dream property, and we know that you will find it to be a small slice of heaven. Our home is spacious and built with love. It is a unique home with plenty of rustic character, but with all of the comfort of a modern home. The beds and linens are new and comfortable. It is easy to entertain inside with a pool table, basketball game and plenty of seating. It is even easier to entertain outside with a hot tub, easy river access, floating dock, basketball hoop and huge deck area overlooking the river. If you enjoy fishing you can walk down to the private dock and cast in your line. We have caught Bass, Trout, Pike, and Perch from the dock. We also see beavers, deer, blue heron, ducks, geese, elk, moose, eagles and water otters right from the porch.
    We are located about 40 min from the stunning Flathead Lake, 2 hours from spectacular Glacier National Park, and close to many other beautiful outdoor destinations such as Whitefish, Kalispel and Missoula. We are nesled in the quaint town of Wildhorse Plains, a fabulous small town with a wonderful hospital, quaint movie theatre, and bowling alley. The opportunites are endless, especially for the outdoor enthusiast! This home is what great memories are made of!

Clark Fork Family Fun

This property was perfect to accommodate our family of ten for 3 days of floating the river, fishing and swimming. The home was spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed for large family dinners and the beds were clean and comfortable. Next year we’ll return for sure.

Perfect spot for family vacation

One of our favorite spots we have vacationed at

The house is beautiful, so clean and lots for kids to do. Yard is big and lawn is soft. The dock is great and my grandson who is eight was so excited to catch a fish. The river was perfect for floating around and the home is a dream, so much room. We loved the chess board and bb hoop, pool table, the list goes on an on. Thank you!

Plenty of space for a large group of people, close to Quinn's hot springs, and amazing view of the Clark Fork river. The only unfortunate thing was that the hot tub was broken at arrival and we were not notified.

We would visit Plains again just to stay here!

We had 15 family members stay here for 4 days and it was perfect. Fishing and swimming off the dock finished with hot tubbing and competitive games of pool at night! House had an open concept which was the best while cooking for all the people! If we ever come back to this area we would 10000% stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Perfect gathering place

I hosted a sibling reunion at this beautiful riverfront rental. The house was spacious for the 8 of us be comfortable, and we found the kitchen island to be perfect for swapping stories over coffee. We had a fabulous time and one of the best reunions to date.

A Little Slice of Heaven in Plains

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! What a magical experience, soaking in a hot tub on the Clark Fork River, watching shooting stars and hearing wildlife off in the distance. The pool table is an added bonus! Shauna was very communicative and accommodating. I highly recommend this property to anyone fortunate enough to visit Wild Horse Plains, Montana!

Beautiful setting

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay! Everyone was comfortable and we prepared several meals in the well equipped kitchen. The views from the back porch and hot tub are stunning. We saw eagles, deer, and a bear over the course of the weekend and were able to float the river back to the house with a quick drop off drive. We also enjoyed the pool table and other games. We would love to come back!

Amazing home!

This home was the perfect place for our family Christmas gathering! Very spacious, well thought out floor plan gave everyone the space they needed yet the kitchen/living room was large enough for everyone to gather and visit, eat, watch football, etc... The home is very well stocked from all kitchen needs to plenty of bathroom supplies. The host was very quick to respond to the couple of questions we had. I would highly recommend this home and our family looks forward to staying here again!

Right on the River

We stayed here for about a week with various family members for our son’s wedding. It was a good property to hang out in between all of the wedding activities. We enjoyed the views and wildlife through the large windows and from the back deck. The kitchen was well stocked with the things we needed. The grandkids had plenty of things to do to keep them occupied (basketball, pool table, fishing, hot tub, camp fire, and large yard). The owner was very attentive to our needs. We were appreciative to be able to stay at such a nice place in Plains, Montana.

Amazing Family House

This property is amazing! Everything was clean and the host was easily reached to answer questions and/or concerns. Shauna was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property, especially for family stays. One suggestion would be to put a ladder on the dock to be able to get out of the water easier. The kids (aged 10 and 6 in lifejackets) had trouble getting out of the river and up on the dock by themselves.

Beautiful Property

This property was ideal for a large family gathering. The pool table and view of the river were the highlights. The master bedroom was very luxurious. My only productive feedback would be is to ensure there is enough bedding for the listed 15 guests. We were missing bedding for three sleeping areas. Other than that, it was such a treat. Thanks you!

The River Awaits

This property is much nicer than the pictures. It has a big covered front porch perfect to enjoy your coffee while the sun comes up. The rear deck offers a beautiful sunset view. The host loaned us some paddle boards and we brought inflatable kayaks which were great for the river. You can drop in at Paradise for a leisurely float back to the house that took us about 3 hours. We swam, fished, and floated every day. The weather was perfect in August. We hope to return.
