"People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail. Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "

"The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. The hotel was spotless inside, our executive room was just big enough and had a lovely sunny balcony. Location was great as was the pre-bookable parking. The only thing I want to comment on is the exterior of the side and back of the hotel needs a bit of modernisation."

Overall, a good stay.

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabins are clean and efficient and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly to us non-French speaking folks. Our major disappointment was that, although a restaurant is on the premises, we found out when we checked in that it was already fully booked for dinner both nights of our stay. We were able to get reservations for breakfast; breakfast was adequate, but not outstanding. If would have been helpful if the Hotels.com app mentioned that reservations are recommended. The bed was very firm and somewhat uncomfortable for me, though my husband slept well."

"Arrivée, pas top, un manque d'accueil pas de bonjour, juste.. vous avez réservé? Puis la directrice a pris les choses en mains et à comblé ce déficits très largement et je la remercie encore. Parking payant un peu trop en vrac pas tres pratique, peu d'ombre pas de marquages... Repas bon mais très simple, manque de choix d'accompagnement, viande tendre et bonne cuisson. Log top, clim , propre accessible, comfortable, terrase top. Merci"

Lovely stay with welcoming host

"We had a great stay at this property and the host made us welcome when we arrived. It was as described in the listing and we even got the wifi working well in the end. The pool area was amazing. The house and utensils could have been cleaner but nothing that particularly affected our stay there. It wasnt great that we had to make our own beds, especially when we only found this out as we went to bed and that we had to hunt around for the duvets (in the wardrobes) and the bedding ( in a basket in the washing machine room) and it wasnt clear what should fit where - this didnt make for a great first impression after our journeying. A handbook of some sort in French or English would have been useful - explaining the pool alarm and oven eg. And some local info would have been nice - market days and closing days for boulangerie. Watch for the beams - even knowing about them didnt prevent the many bumps. And take pool towels with you unless previously agreed with host."
