Our room overlooked the shops and street, the market right in the square near the hotel was great, and it wasn't a far walk from the train station. Rooms a little tired however hotel is in the process of refurbishment. Outside noise during the night several times that woke us. You can walk from the train station , walk to the beach, groceries right downstairs as well as tons of restaurants. We stayed in a junior suite (teens slept on the sofabed which maybe could have been better) but overall really good. The room turned out to be a 1 br + 1 living room apartment + a well-equipped kitchenette, with lovely balconies around. Everything was clean and very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit disappointing - we needed a walk-in shower facility (rather than a shower over bath) and were helpfully accommodated but the room was dark & drab with little wardrobe provision. Whilst the bathroom was very accessible for those with restricted mobility, access to the balcony was via a very high step with no support rails making it unusable.
