"We had a great time at LakeLubbers!! Plenty of room for our party of 8, with fully stocked kitchen, and grill on the patio. The location is very convenient to Bridgewater Marina and shopping / restaurants, the dock was convenient for parking our boat, and the upper dock was a hit with the kiddos!!"

"The house and property were very nice; comfortable, clean and definitely secluded and enjoyable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, privacy and all of the wonderful deer that come around the property was awesome. We even bought extra food just for the deer and were able to get so close to them. The owner was very attentive to issues and quick to help. The downsides we encountered: the grill wasn’t anything we would use and needs to be replaced. We found the Leesville Lake is not Sea Doo friendly, at least the time of year we were here (and seems it would be difficult to maneuver any boats with the debris that moves with the intake/output from the dams). We didn’t read the description well enough to see the house was as far from the lake as it was. It was nice that we were close enough to Smith Mountain Lake boat ramps-this was a plus. Overall-this is definitely a place that was truly enjoyable and we would even return again to this beautiful area!"

"We had a fantastic time staying in this old log cabin. There are LOTS of amenities and the property is absolutely beautiful. We cooked using the outdoor kitchen and only used the outdoor shower. The porch is facing the lake and it’s so peaceful just sitting there listening to nature. The host was very nice and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. Make sure to go down the slide and jump from the swings into the lake. 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend. "

"Overall the property was very nice. It was great for a group with adults and teenage kids as there were two masters on the first floor and a hang out space downstairs for the kids. The location and dock for a boat as well as trampoline and second floor dock for jumping were enjoyed by all. Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness not being the best and the lack of some basics like more than one trash bag. However, our overall stay was fantastic as the location on the lake close to bridgewater and 10 minutes from a grocery store was great. "
