"The facility looks new from the outside, bed comfortable but carpet dirty, cribs on the floor definitely housekeeping did not vacuum. Requested a blanket we were given a fitted sheet that we had to pick up the front desk as only 1 person is working. Breakfast ok. Music blasting on the floor we stayed into, no one said anything. We will NOT BE BACK ."

Front desk okay. hot & cold beverages and fruits/snacks available all day. water pressure in the shower was very low and location of sink (outside of room bath, sink is located in main sleeping room) is strange. Practically in front of room door inside the sleeping room. Strangely arranged."

"Breakfast was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well kept. The only thing we found was that the rug was not vacuumed under the pull out sofa. We found an old pill, some dirt and crumbs, but it wasn’t too bad. We did have very noisy neighbors, but that is to be expected anywhere you go, especially on graduation weekend. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. "

"I stayed at Hotel on Monroe, BW Signature Selection with my son, and unfortunately the room fell well below expected standards. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were so dirty that after walking around barefoot, the bottoms of my feet were literally black. It quickly became clear that housekeeping had missed more than a few key steps. The shower was another challenge. It was partially broken and made showering feel like a test of patience rather than a basic amenity. Add to that flickering lights and a general sense that the room and facilities were very worn down, and the stay became more uncomfortable than relaxing. There’s a certain “vintage” charm some hotels aim for—this wasn’t that. This felt more like deferred maintenance and overlooked upkeep. I don’t usually expect perfection, but I do expect clean and functional accommodations. Sadly, this stay missed the mark on all three. With some serious attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this hotel could improve, but as it stands, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."

"We stayed at this property while attending our son’s graduation from RIT. I loved the location and found it so nice to be right on the canal. The place was very clean and well appointed. Pittsford is a lovely town and a great choice if visiting the Rochester area. "

"The HVAC units are a huge problem here. They’re mounted on plywood in each room and are terribly loud. Very difficult to sleep. You can hear them roaring in the hallways too. Many people were complaining and trying to find quieter rooms. HUGE issue if you want good sleep. "
