Pinegrove Memorial Park

Our stay at Rydges was just okay. The room was not set up for two people. There was almost no closet or drawer space and we were there for 10 days so we had things to hang up and items to put away in drawers. The bathroom was so small and the mirror so inadequate that only one person could do any primping to go out, and then the other person could go on in for that purpose. The shower was the worst. It was very difficult to regulate water temperature and water always spilled out the door onto the floor outside the shower. On our first use of the shower, the shower head fell down and we managed to use it with just the hose at that time. Staff did fix it later that day while we were out. Housekeeping did not visit our room until late in the day when we were already back from adventuring. That meant that we had no clean towels to get ready to go out at night. For one or two days, housekeeping did not visit our room at all and I had to ask staff to get us some clean towels, which they did. The best thing about our stay was the breakfast, which we paid to be allowed to partake of. The food was plentiful and very good.
