"Stayed for one night with my husband and son. Check in was easy, both front desk ladies were pleasant to deal with. The room was so clean and you could tell they care about their property. The room photos are exactly what the rooms look like. Our room was by the external door to go upstairs, you could definitely hear people going up and down. There was also a lot of noise from upstairs until people went to sleep. But nothing we felt was excessive or unexpected. Most negative reviews are due to their failure to read the policies and therefore forfeiting their deposit or room cost. Make sure you read those and you shouldn’t have any issues."

"Well it is a good clean hotel, but definitely it is not a 4 stars one. It is a firm 3 star hotel and all its facilities correspond to a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was good and fresh,the workers are helpful and nice. The swimming pool area definitely has an issue- there is a fan which is working so strong that you freeze inside. I informed the receptionist about it and he said that it can’t be turned off or made less stronger. The towels provided in the pool and in the room aren’t of a good quality-they don’t dry your body well. The coffee machine in the room wasn’t working. Overall,it is a good hotel,but as I said earlier it can’t be a 4 stars one as they represent themselves."

"A great welcome to the Maratimes at the Fourth Lock B&B! Fabulous atmosphere and beautiful view! The restaurant staff was so helpful and the room (Thomas) was spacious enough for our family of 5. Our three teenagers were raving about how cute and aesthetic this place was! Easy self check in process and the games, juices and coffee from the common area were a great touch! Wish we could have stayed longer."
