Our code didn’t work right away and we had to contact the host and she replied in seconds! Great communication and she fixed it immediately! It was so close to everything and that was really convenient. It was literally like 2 miles from the island and had a grocery store less than two miles away. There were 3 live squirrels banging and scratching around in the fireplace and the attic. The squirrels had chewed the wiring for the fireplace so it didn't even work. The lock was busted on one window and wouldn't lock. There was a crack in the door. There were several weak spots in the deck especially around the hot tub. We contacted the management company and she said she'd try to get someone to come out. The next morning a guy from wildlife management showed up to make an estimate and said he could not get the squirrels at that time. It was not the ideal honeymoon cabin that we were hoping for. ##### Kelli E. The cabin itself was very charming and we loved it. The only negative is that the hot tub is not under a covered porch and it rained the entire weekend so we were unable to use it at all. And, in the winter with all of the leaves off the trees, the main road is right behind you so it is not as private as I would have liked. So keep that in mind. That is the only reason I would give it 4 stars instead of 5\. If you are not concerned with the hot tub then I would highly suggest this cabin. ##### Teri C. It’s convenient to everything you want to do (hiking, shopping, eating), but secluded enough to give you quiet and privacy. Great little find for a couple who wants to get away for a few days.
