  • Whispering Pines is a beautiful, cozy, RELAXING and luxurious 2 bedroom, log cabin located in Sherwood Forest, a gated resort that boasts the very BEST VIEWS of the Smokies!!! We are very conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. DOLLYWOOD and most major attractions are all a very short drive, less than 10 minutes away. After a wonderful night's sleep in one of our EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE king size beds, begin your day by enjoying a starter complimentary morning coffee brewed either from the Keurig or make an entire pot. Then, watch the sun come up and take in the SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the Smokies. Enjoy the relaxing Hot Tub on the wraparound deck or the indoor Jacuzzi all year through or the resort offers all guests a swimming pool in the warmer months. Whispering Pines has been such a wonderful blessing for our family and we are truly SO GRATEFUL we get to share it!!

    For your protection and our property, there is one Video Surveillance camera monitor facing the parking area.

    Whispering Pines offers: TWO COMPLETELY PRIVATE king bedrooms with doors that are separate from other living spaces (we do however have a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress located in the den), two fireplaces, each located in the den and master bedroom, a master bedroom Jacuzzi, a hot tub and 3 king wooden rocking chairs with a side table on a large, covered wrap-around deck to enjoy the gorgeous views, a gas grill, a fully stocked kitchen with beautiful granite counter-tops, refrigerator w/ice maker, stove/oven, a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, crockpot, blender, toaster, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a loft area with a 5 CD changer stereo, bistro table, board games and pool table, 42” flat screen TV for gaming and flat screen TV's in both the bedroom and 50" flat screen Smart HDTV with a BluRay DVD player in the living room all equipped with a full cable package (top tier movie and sports channels), a DVD library and Free Wifi.

Beautiful and private cabin with comfortable beds and clean facilities. Hot tub was sanitary and relaxing on our chilly Tennessee evenings! Kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. Pillows could have been better, or at least had protective covers over them for sanitary reasons. Otherwise, we have zero complaints and will most definitely stay here again and share our positive experience with others.

Pigeon Forge retreat

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend so we chose this cute cabin in the Sherwood Forest community. It’s very cute and the cabin was as expected from the pictures. The location is perfect for what we wanted to do and we had a great time. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Quick Cozy Getaway

My son and I wanted to get away before the craziness of the holidays. This retreat was exactly what we needed. The location was convenient to all the action on the strip, but remote enough to have privacy. The two king bedrooms was wonderful, and my son felt like a king in the upstairs master. Cabin was very clean and homey. We had great time playing games and relaxing on the porch. Beds were more comfortable than our own beds. Neighborhood is great location but be prepared for steep hills.

The cabin was exceptionally clean and perfectly decorated for our Fall getaway. The beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities needed. The wrap around views were spectacular. The location was perfect, being only a few miles from the center of Pigeon Forge. Communication with the owners was excellent…always instant and courteous.

We had a great stay at Whispering Pines. It was in the heart of Pigeon Forge. The cabin was perfect for our family - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our children loved the pool table and included board games. The drive to the actual cabin once you’re in the resort area is a little steep, but fun! We would recommend this stay to family and friends. Thank you!

Great location with a view

You are literally 15 or 20 (if lots of traffic) minutes from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view was very nice. Was as advertised and even had a blender. The only thing missing was some dish soap for handwashing things and a firmer bed. It was a good choice for our little family vacation.
