poolside.. our exceptional resort cabin is a favorite, both for the location and spectacular finishes and decor inside.
The great room is dominated by a incredible stone fireplace with massive bouldes, under a towering cathedral ceiling with Saltillo tile underfoot and accented by numerous wildlife mounts.
The kitchen is bounded by a log and stone breakfast bar, offset by stainless appliances and sandstone countertops.
the main level master has a private bath, wihile a powder room with laundry stacks serves the living area.
Upstairs a second bedroom with a private whirlpool bath .
The resort offers a broad range of amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs, a recreation room, fitness room, and a spacious conference room with kitchen.
Combined with a location convenient to all our area has to offer, this cabin will please u.

The cabin was very nice and in a great spot for a good price however the cabin was not very clean once we arrived for booking in.

Everything was as described. We enjoyed our stay. We were thankful for the spare blow up air mattress since the one we brought was leaking air. We had one issue arise and someone answered immediately and provided us with help.

Beautiful log cabin and lovely area

This was a cute log home with everything we needed to stay comfortable for a few days. Enjoyed the area and scenery as well. Highly recommend.

Mountain getaway

Beautiful cabin and nicely furnished. Used to be the check in for a resort. The road up to the resort was right outside of the master bedroom window, so can be a little noisy for sleeping. The cabin was overall clean, but could use some deep cleaning. The walls are log and they were very dusty.

Wedding Retreat

The cabin was in a great proximity to attractions. It had a good layout, but the cleanliness was less than acceptable. Tile floors had been swept, but not mopped, leaving pet hairs and dirt which soiled our socks. Carpet in bathrooms needed cleaning

This cabin is situated in an easy-to-find complex that is very convenient to the Pigeon Forge strip. The complex is dense, but the unit felt private. The unit had all the standard amenities and was very cute and comfortable. I appreciate being able to bring our dog along. An extra amenity that was nice was the indoor pool, available year-round.

Family vacation

Cabin is amazing and location is beautiful.Once we got there everything was dirty, the beds were dirty, the towels were on the floor dirty, we had to clean everything on our own. Communication and service is very poor and unprofessional. Besides the cabin being beautiful and peaceful we were not happy with the service.

Very nice chalet

The space was perfect for the five of us. Very cute and clean minus the floors. Our feet were filthy. I did message the owner to let them know that the cleaning crew isn't wet mopping the floors The pool is right outside the door.A plus for us. Whom ever is in charge of pool maintenance didn't show up. The restroom was dirty and had no toilet paper from day one and the trash on the pool deck was over flowing by our last evening. I would recommend you stay here.

Great Location and Nice Cabin

If you want the cabin feel but still be close to the main strip, this is the location for you. This is our third time staying at a cabin in this cabin area. This is our first time at this specific cabin. The check in process went well and key was easy to retrieve. There is plenty of parking space for this particular cabin. The living room is large. It was just me and my wife. The bedroom didn't have a ceiling fan so fortunately we had our small portable fan with us. All appliances worked fine. The only issue we had was the AC/Heater control panel was locked with a PIN that a previous guest had set so we couldn't turn on the heat for the cabin. The owner (Ellen) was very quick in responding and having a tech out to fix it. Ellen followed up the next day to make sure all was good. We have been to Pigeon Forge many times and this time we were visiting to see the Fall leaves but got here a little too early to see the full Fall foliage. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the convenient location.

The cabin was cute, we were still close to everything which was really nice! 5 of us slept here comfortably. -the cabin was overall pretty clean but as soon as food comes into the kitchen the ants come out! I even bought some ant spray for the kitchen and I wasn’t able to find the source to really do much good. -the cleaners need to mop better! Our feet were so disgusting I mean black black after walking around for any time with our shoes off. -the pool/hot tub area in the community center was run down and murky, my kids swam Once and didn’t last very long before coming back complaining the chlorine smell was making their eyes blood red and making them nauseous. (This is just an added activity to the cabin and has no real reflection of the cabin itself!)

7th Anniversary Weekend

7 years ago, we were married in Gatlinburg surrounded be family and friends. We were thrilled to be back to celebrate over the weekend in the place where we officially begun as a family. My husband and I along with our 16 year old son and our beloved dog enjoyed the time away, despite our son being under the weather. The weekend started off with a few hiccups at the cabin, but Mr. & Mrs. Hunter were quick to remedy the issue that was out of their control. We arrived and the cleaning service had missed turning over our place when we arrived at check-in. One call to the Hunters and the cleaning service was there in less than 10 minutes! While they serviced our cabin, we took full advantage to relax and enjoy the porch swing and the beautifully carved bench. Once inside, we unpacked our stuff and headed over to The Island to enjoy dinner at Paula Den’s restaurant. The location of the cabin is super convenient to access the main road including Kroger and Publix less than 1/2 mile away! We enjoyed the weekend going to some of our favorite places - the outlets shopping for gifts, driving into Gatlinburg to reminisce our wedding and dinner at The Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg. Seriously, our absolute favorite restaurant and where we held our wedding reception. It is worth every penny. We enjoyed a cozy fire in the fireplace on our last night and didn’t want to leave the next day. We will certainly keep this cabin in mind for the next trip!

Fall Break

I never received the email with information regarding access codes. Sent an email to the property owner and called after 5 hours of no response. They were very short about it but did give me the access code. Check in was at 4 and we arrived after 7 only to find the cabin had not been cleaned AT ALL. Dirty towels and sheets in the floor, food in the table and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I immediately called the Hunters with this news and they were very rude to say the least. Kept trying to tell me we are in the middle of a pandemic and you can’t get people to work. I understand that part and fully agree. However they were not concerned at all that we had just driven over 7 hours only to be greeted with this mess. I work for the public and if we make a mistake or my employees do, then we try to fix it or offer some type of compensation for the trouble. Jimmy told me I could leave and get a full refund but I didn’t trust that to really happen nor did I have any other place to go. He could have offered a discount since we basically lost one night of being able to do anything. Cleaners finally arrived about 8:30 and we were able to eat dinner about 10 when they left. Totally unacceptable. The lamp in the living room was broken and would not work, the shower door in master bath would only open on one side and the cleaning lady was going to report these things. Even after they finished cleaning. The cabin was still very dusty and just didn’t feel clean since they just rushed through the process. The cabin itself is nice but really dark inside. . The only good thing about the vacation was the location itself. I’ve been coming to this area for 53 years and this was by far the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I wish I could give the Hunter’s a negative rating just because of their uncaring attitude. Needless to say I will not recommend them or ever stay there again!!
