They are also home to the elements and other critters, which include curvy mountain roads, snowy/icy winter days, insects, mice, scorpions, rattlesnakes, bears, and poor cell service. We have a pest control team come out regularly to inspect Lovers' Retreat, but it can still happen that a small critter can find its way inside. We cannot be held responsible for any run-ins with wildlife. My wife and I enjoyed a 3 day weekend in this cozy cabin less than a half mile to the main drag in Pigeon Forge. Once at the cabin we enjoyed the quiet forest surroundings in a planned cabin community. Since we reside in Myrtle Beach, SC area we're used to the attractions, restaurants, etc...but we wanted a get a way to recharge & relax and get ready for the Christmas holidays and the New Year. The hosts we're tremendous and great to work with making our stay really enjoyable! The only negative we had was that we only had 3 nights! We'll definitely be back but with more time to really enjoy!! ##### Larry H. Owners are super friendly and so attentive! James replies within minutes! Cabin was very updated, probably the cleanest we have ever stayed in, and was equipped with everything we needed. Had to buy drano for bathroom sink and the fitted sheet did not fit the bed. Turned cold Sat nite (Oct 1st) and neither the heat or the fireplace would come on. None of these things ruined our stay.
