"struttura tranquilla peccato che alle 6.30 di mattina degli ospiti che dovevano partire hanno cominciato a disturbare parlando a voce alta. Inoltre avevano parcheggiato la macchina in maniera non corretta sotto la finestra della nostra camera e anche lì hanno cominciato a ridere e scherzare con altri che partivano con loro. Il bagno della stanza è in ristrutturazione e quindi lascia un po' a desiderare. Personale molto gentile,accogliente e competente."

"The family that runs this BnB are wonderful. They put together the most wonderful breakfast with fresh and delicious variety of choices. They hand-bake the croissants and the cakes for each morning and homemade yogurt. Everything is just amazing! The terrace is a beautiful place to spend time and catch sunshine while overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It is also a short walk to nearby wineries. However, you can also book tours that take you to multiple sites. Walking around the village is nice too. It is very quiet. A few nice shops are there and also an art gallery!"

"1) The descriptions are not clear about this property. The rooms are a 5-minute drive away from the main building 2) If you need a housekeeping service, you need to pay 60 euros for each day! And you need to throw your trash into the bin outside the property. They won't help you! 3) If you need to use the small gym( a few equipment), you need to pay 25 euros per person for each day! 4) The hotel staff were generally so rude! They are ready to argue with you 5) LEAKING ROOF! If you are going on a rainy day, be careful, you can wake up with water drops The good part 1) The breakfast was good 2) The hotel was clean 3) The view was good, but you can have the same view from the different hotels. "

"This is a lovely older home in the country with a great view of the village across the valley. Excellent hosts and very clean. Only issue, which is outside of their control, is the very slow internet service. It was very difficult to manage blog posts so it might be difficult to conduct any business on the available wifi."

"Beautiful setting but not a place to take a large group. The kitchen was inadequate. The two old small barbeques for out door cooking were also inadequate. There was no room inside to be together as a group. The table in the kitchen was big enough to seat 14\. However the stove top and the half size oven were not designed to accommodate a large group. There was one 16x16 butcher block to work on, a small fridgecould not hold more than two days worth of food, let alone beer, wine and water for 14\. There was no ice machine on site and a nice coffee machine (also one pot is not sufficient for 14 people) would have been appreciated. The linens in the bedrooms could be upgraded to make the setting much nicer. There was no laundry access that guests could use themselves, you had to pay for the service.The dirt road to get to the villa is in bad shape, with large blind pot holes creating issues for some. You may turn around before you get to the villa as there is no signage along the initial driveway. The terrace was a beautiful setting and had a large table that would seat 14\. Again, the furniture could have used some updating and the patio stones some cleaning. The animal dropping are yours to clean and needs to be done daily. Broken windows and some plumbing issues detracted from the stay also. But through it all we made the most of it and enjoyed our week to the fullest. There are other villas in the area that offer a much more complete stay. Investigate."

"Sun setting over the hills as we opened a bottle of wine, the chef’s dog digging up fresh truffles in the backyard for dinner that night, fireflies blinking among the cypress trees after darkness settles in… Our group of 10 stayed here for two nights before heading to a wedding later in the week. It was an incredible experience getting to see Tuscany in such a relaxing stylish setting. Lorenzo and Natalie became true friends during the communication leading up to the stay and throughout. They helped us stock some groceries for breakfast, set up a chef cooked meal (with another new friend, Chef Giancarlo), welcomed us personally to the house, and generally made sure we all had an amazing time. The village of San Donato is a gem as well, and gave us a great feeling of what the real Tuscany feels like outside of the tourist hotspots. I highly recommend staying in their beautiful house!"
