"The property is typically Sicilian so if you’re expecting contemporary and luxury this is not for you, if you want to feel like you’re in Sicily and experiencing their culture this is fabulous. "We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

"A spacious and well appointed apartment within the Villa. The views from the terrace are spectacular and overlook the Giardini Naxos bay all the way to the Cape of Taormina. From the terrace of the main bedroom there is also a wonderful view of Mt Etna in all her glory. "We had a lovely 10 days in your clean, spacious villa. Perfect for a family of two adults and two teenagers looking to relax and explore the beautiful island of Sicily. We loved the 4x4 tour of etna you organised for us and we explored the local towns and villages. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food good and inexpensive. "We had a great week! Marinella and Angelo were great hosts and have made this a beautiful space for a family retreat. It was beautiful with the flowers in bloom and the pool was a huge plus for the kids. Close to the highway so you can get to Taormina and Etna quickly, even if the road from the highway to the house is a little loud sometimes. A very beautiful and unique house that makes a memorable trip."
