Oozing charm and character, it is the ideal holiday location for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the beautiful East Yorkshire coastline. Scarborough makes a perfect family day out. Visit Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes. Dalby Forest offers cycle tracks, off-roading and picnic areas and live music festivals throughout the season. Golf, riding and indoor swimming pool locally. Shops, restaurants and pubs 50 yards.

Stayed from 09-16 October 2020, Found the cottage to be weary spacious with 2 large lounges great facilities with just about everything you need for a great holiday. Lovely cottage for family holiday Access to parking which was very useful for two cars. The cottage had two excellent large sitting rooms, dinning room and kitchen, we had the downstairs bedroom suitable for elderly or disabled. Lovely well equipped cottage very close to the centre of Pickering. A 5 minute walk to Lidl to get provisions for our continental breakfast. Cottage has a shower room and bathroom and two reception rooms, although we stuck to just one of the main rooms. Beds were comfy. The owner has put safety rules in place for the pandemic so we felt safe. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
