The breakfast is fabulous, the best is everyday with a local speciality as various to the standard breakfast. The tapas in the restaurant is also delicious. Only thing is the airconditioning in the room, could be set a little warm, for that of course you can control. ##### Julia Stayed 8 nights in Jul 2025 ### 8/10 Good #### Sophia 18 Aug 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication Great family hotel, great bike hire, location is perfect just a quick walk to the beach or the buggy, fantastic kids club activities and wonderfully trained staff, I wouldn’t come here without children, there is only one restaurant which is quite basic, and nowhere to dress up, you need to go across the rd to the Marriott bar and it’s quite lovely, they also have a fire show there, there is zero entertainment at this resort, the cocktails at the pool bar were very old fashioned and their happy hour is a ridiculous buy two get one free, odd and silly. The resort is connect to the Anantara and I think it would have been a much better experience if we could all use the facilities of both hotel creating more dining options more pool options and overall a better experience for adults as well as the children. The staff are really excellent though and could t do more to please. The pool is brilliant, proper kids splash area but also big inflatable course in the main pool which we loved. The swim up bar is also fantastic, Tikky, Wave & Tam make excellent cocktails! Breakfast variety was great, room service food was fast & fresh too. Short walk to the beach although the hotel has buggies which will take you the 300m down there too. Tides are strong but the sand is lovely change from pool. Hotel shuttle to Phuket old town was great too. My kids (8 and 5) loved the kids club, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food choice was excellent and they catered very well for dietary requirements for my parents. We stayed in a 2 bed villa which was huge and the kids loved the galaxy bedroom. Katong was the perfect base to explore Singapore again, but Hotel Indigo with its personalised attention made it that much more special. The rooms and decor in general were colourful and vibrant, facilities fantastic, and the front desk staff were absolutely amazing. The daily breakfast also wouldn’t have been the same without the attention provided by Kelly, Mary, Alex, Faizal and Nathan. Thank you for making our stay even more memorable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Villa as a family of 4 (with young children - 18mo and 4yo) and had the most amazing holiday! The property was stunning, well-maintained, clean and had absolutely everything you could need. They had all the facilities you could want - big pool, tennis court (available at the next door Anantara), pickle ball court, bball court, boxing classes, yoga - the list goes on! The kids club and waterslide pool were a saviour and kept our kids entertained all day! The restaurants were all great and we especially enjoyed the extensive buffet breakfast every day. The property is in a great location - walking (or buggy ride!) distance to shops, beaches, massage, nails, pubs etc. The staff here were the absolute best and truly made our holiday such an incredible and unforgettable experience. Two main swimming pools, one is at the other Anantara villa resort which does have some restrictions for guests staying at the vacation club. Mainly you have to use designated chairs and towels probably to make the villa guests more exclusive. But a much quieter swimming pool and view of ocean and sunset. Less family friendly atmosphere. The hotel provides transportation between the two resorts. Good beach access and next door to Marriott Hotel which has a sea turtle tank where you can feed the turtles and watch them swim in tank. Bikes available for rent but some need maintenance either with brakes, loose handle bars and seats. Almost all the ones we used had defective brakes. But worth finding one to use and ride the paths around the villa resort and on main road connecting several resorts. We visited and compared a few of the other resorts, worth taking a look at. Good breakfast buffet and wide selection. Only problem is the wait time for coffee; can be 10 or more minutes but they do ask when first seating and then you have to ask for another from staff. Good selection of fruit, Asian food, western breakfast items. One of the highlights is the kids club where kids can play and learn. Great for families and to give parents a break. It is conveniently located by the swimming pool.
