It is a family run place with a beautiful pool, large rooms, surrounded by beautiful foliage. It is not in town which is nice as it is more quiet but it’s also not far to get into town (5 minutes by Grab taxi). I thought the breakfast was ok but my husband really enjoyed it. I think having some more staff would really take this hotel up a notch as it has so much potential! For a western traveler, this place was horrible. The room was very clean but the room had an odor that was so bad it left a taste in your mouth. Bathrooms do not allow you to flush toilet paper. Our room had loose molding around the windows, which showed a lot of mold behind the wall trim. Pillows were just foam blocks shoved into a pillowcase. We booked for two nights and left after the first night for better accommodations.
