The property is exceptionally well maintained, even the horse corral was cleaned and raked daily. There was plenty of space for everyone, the pool and hot tub were well used and we enjoyed eating dinner on the patio as the sun went down. The master suite is the star with a huge window and beautiful view. We enjoyed the ambience of seeing the horses on the property - although we didn't interact with them directly they looked like they were very well cared for and living the good life. It is on the edge of Scottsdale with gorgeous desert and mountain views and lots of privacy to walk and relax. There is a big Albertson’s grocery store nearby to stock up. The huge kitchen allows several people to cook together (no one gets stuck doing all the work) but it could have been a bit better equipped with basics, eg. a vegetable peeler, foil, oil, food storage containers, a toaster rather than a toaster oven. It was fun to visit the horses in the stables just a few steps away. The caretaker, Johnny, was friendly and easy to communicate with. He can heat up the hot tub or pool at the time you request (check with the owner about costs for the propane). The only concern about this property is that, although it is superficially clean enough, it really seems to need a crew to do a thorough deep cleaning and some maintanence review of things like burned out lightbulbs and cleaning tiny debris on the bottom of the hot tub.
