Situated on almost an acre, this home enjoys unobstructed views of the McDowell Mountains and 50,000+ acres of undeveloped tribal land!

Enjoy endless games, walking trails, arts & crafts, wildlife encounters, pool and spa, and more! (Spa heating is available by request, pool can not be heated.)

While you're relaxing & enjoying the solitude of country living in the heart of Scottsdale, you may even catch a glimpse of the Salt River wild horses!

An introduction to the Property Manager will be provide after completing your reservation.

This home is located on a private cul-de-sac near horse properties and walking trails in a quiet Scottsdale neighborhood.

Major retailers, grocers, hospitals, ice cream, and coffee shops are within a ten minute drive.

We call this home "The Family Room" because we believe that spending time together as a family is the most important ingredient for building a healthy family. We've personally found that some of the most fun and meaningful conversations we've had as a family happen while we're playing and crafting together.

While you're here, check out our game closet, use our bluetooth speaker for a family dance party, host an air hockey or ping pong tournament, go swimming, play tetherball, volleyball, or badminton, shoot some baskets, explore the walking trail off the cul-de-sac for a beautiful sunset experience, and keep an eye out for the wild horses!

Uber, Lyft, Taxis are available upon request. This property's circular driveway makes parking very accessible for groups of all sizes.

Perfect large family getaway!

This is the perfect place to stay, especially with a big family. Any activity you’d want to do, you can find here! It’s spacious, well stocked and was the perfect place for us to get away. We are already dreaming of coming again!!

Amazing Family Retreat!

Amazing Property, Even Better Memories

This property truly had something special for everyone in our family. Our family of 5 enjoyed the beautiful views, the hot tub and pool, all of the outdoor activities, indoor games, and well thought out spaces. This home was in a great location for awesome hikes, day trips, and local stores and restaurants. It was clean, provided a ton of fun on-site, and easily slept our entire large family. A family paradise

Our family of five and our friends family of 6 stayed this past week and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, art room, outdoor game space and all the family centered entertainment of the house. This property was beautiful both inside and out. It had everything needed to be able to enjoy some special family time away. We had the best time at The Family Room! Our high school and college aged kids enjoyed the property just as much as a small child would and they spent many hours exploring the trails, playing games in the yard, and also playing games in the house. We had the best time. Thank you!

Beautiful house, wonderful amenities, amazing vacation!

Our family had an amazing stay at The Family Room. The house amenities provided so much fun and entertainment without having to go anywhere. Of course we did take in some of the sights of AZ while we were there but we sure loved coming back to the house each evening to cook, swim, and play. We hope to go back!

Perfect for Kids

This property is so good for kids. The backyard is the true highlight, with minigolf, darts, tetherball, and of course, the swimming pool! The master bedroom is spacious and luxurious. The children have three bedrooms to choose from. There are many books and toys. The hosts are very responsive.

Such a blessing!

Our time there was amazing! Our son felt right at home with all the amazing toys, it was his first time in a pool and he even got to see some cool wild life as well. It was an amazing time. Wonderful family time and respite

We enjoyed a week at The Family Home. The house is really amazing. Our family enjoyed the pool, darts, tetherball, board games, and badminton. The house is a great size and makes for a very comfortable stay. The house is in a scenic area . We enjoyed nearby hikes and watching the sunset on the swings in the back yard. Absolutely Amazing!

We felt so blessed to be able to stay at The Family Room with your friends that are like family. Three couples and our kids that are best friends could not have asked for a more ideal place to stay and enjoy together. From the outdoors (pool, hot tub, mini golf, swings, basketball, volleyball, fooseball table, grill and trails) to the indoors (air hockey, toys, games, ball pit, train table, craft room) there was so much to do and not enough time! We would go back and move in if we could!

Wonderful family getaway

We spent a week getaway at The Family Room with our four kids, ages 15-7. We had a wonderful time exploring Arizona near and far with local hikes around Scottsdale and daily walks on the trail next to the house. We loved the games, piano, pool/hottub, and garage full of table games. We felt so welcome and well taken care of the whole week and had everything we needed. Thank you for an incredible Spring Break getaway - just what we needed to get away from the cool Indiana weather and reconnect as a family!

We went down from snowy BC to play golf for 7 days: six adults and all our gear. There was more than enough room. Stunning house. Great pool and hot tub. Owners are great and instantly respond to any concerns. I would not hesitate to go again.

Amazing Vacation!

We had a blast here! We spent many hours in the pool and really enjoyed many of its features like the sun shelf, built in table that we could play waterproof cards at, and the umbrellas to create some shaded areas. We also liked the air hockey table! This was a wonderful place to vacation and it was so good to see our teenage foster son smile and laugh so much after a very tough year. We will likely be back in the future!

Amazing

We recently had the pleasure of staying in the family room, and our experience was exceptional. The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. The pool and hot tub were also in pristine condition and ready for use. We were particularly impressed by the abundance of pool toys and life vests available. The outdoor activities were outstanding, and for the first time in a long while, my children bonded while enjoying the air hockey table, darts, mini golf, volleyball, and numerous other games. Additionally, the property owners were remarkable; they were readily available to answer any questions we had and provided exceptional assistance throughout our stay.

SO great for our family!

Our visit to The Family Room was excellent. The house is SO well set up for a large family--pool, hot tub, an art room, large gathering spaces, outdoor activities, walking trails . . . I could go on and on. Our time was restful, comfortable, and fun. The home was clean and well-equipped with the things a family would need (and more) for a great visit. The host family is a gift & we are so grateful for this time away as a family. I would highly recommend.
