State Farm Arena is a $142 million venue, home to NFL teams and hockey games, and is also the largest concert venue in the state. The backyard oasis features a HEATED Pebble-Tec POOL, Billiards, Mini-Putt-Putt, Jacuzzi, Ping Pong Table, Fire Pit, and BBQ Grill—perfect for family fun and relaxation. Each room is equipped with Smart TVs with cable access. The home is internet/Wi-Fi ready and offers 24-hour check-in with a Smart Lock (no keys needed). The kitchen features top-tier appliances including a 5-burner gas stove, Quartz backsplash, and built-in KitchenAid appliances. The Quartz countertops elevate the space, creating a perfect environment for cooking and entertaining. The backyard is truly the highlight of the home, offering an array of amenities for everyone to enjoy. The pool can be heated year around at any temperature which is a huge plus when a pool uses a propane/ gas pool heater. This home uses a gas pool heater. Many families are disappointed when electric pool heaters called heat pumps can’t keep the pool warm from Nov-Feb, so be sure to ask your host what kind of pool heater is at the home if having a warm pool is important to your family year around. Many adults also book the homes as many adults want their own bed. Some of the groups we cater to like to bring in a private chief and do hibachi (which we allow with permission from owner). With the backyard having a resort feel, it makes hosting small gatherings extraordinary. The host claimed it was weather related; however, upon inspection by 2 different HVAC companies they elected to replace the unit. This tells me something was really wrong. We slept downstairs for the first 3 nights of our stay while the repairs were made. The host genuinely tried to help things along quickly. He even offered us to move to another location. We were gone all day for baseball and were too tired to move then and the repairs had been made anyway. Unfortunately when they finally finished at 11:30PM, the entire upstairs was covered in insulation. Again we couldn’t use the upstairs. The final straw was when the new AC was leaking condensation through the upstairs ceiling onto the stairs. Then we had to leave due to the obvious safety issue but suddenly the offer to move was rescinded. At least he refunded the rest of our unused nights…but NO compensation was made for the inconvenience (to put it mildly). Repeated attempts by VRBO to work with the owner were met with no compromise.
