"Everything one would expect from an experienced host who excels! Well appointed kitchen, beautiful setting, smooth process. Easy drive to Acadia (about 35 minutes) and sort distance to stores. The best part was the little touches that most hosts would not do: for example, welcome message on blackboard in kitchen, motion activated lights up the stairs, incredible responsiveness. I would rent here again in a heartbeat!"

"This rental was everything we expected it to be and more! Very clean, spacious for 4 people, the view of the lake was beautiful, I could go on and on! We got to watch a meteor shower on the dock, just wow! Easy check in and out, the hosts were super nice and allowed an early check in. Everything was on point for an amazing vacation!!! Thanks for having us! 100 percent would recommend!"

Dreamy Bucksport Hideaway on Freshwater Pond!

"Beautiful remote cabin right next to small and quiet Moulton Pond. Lots of space for a family of 5, with 3 beds and a half bath upstairs, my husband and I stayed in the bedroom downstairs with the only bathroom with a shower which worked out fine. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans and an array of utensils - we cooked every meal and enjoyed the evenings around the fire roasting marshmallows and listening to the sounds of the bullfrogs and the resident loon family. Be aware you are in the woods so there are lots of bugs, spiders and other flying and crawling insects. The water at this time of year was refreshing however when the wind kicked up it got a bit cool. The kayaks were a plus and we tried fishing but only caught small sunfish and smelt (smaller than my hand!) There were several worthwhile hikes under 30min away and of course Acadia National Park is only an hour drive just get there early before the crowds. The Beehive trail was one of the highlights of our trip though not for those fearful of heights! Camden State Park is an hour way and well worth it and the town is cute as well. Our family enjoyed our stay in Maine, the farm fresh eggs, browsing the antique and thrift stores, and just enjoying nature."
