Da aber noch sehr viel Schnee lag konnten wir nur auf den befestigten Straßen gehen. Am Anfang war ich von dem Empfangsbereich den Fliesen im Flur enttäuscht, aber nachdem ich verstanden habe das die Gäste mit Ski- oder Wanderschuhen in das Hotel kommen, habe ich es verstanden. Die Höflichkeit und das Essen waren große Klasse und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer sind einfach gestaltet aber absolut zweckmäßig und sauber. Es ist ein Haus ohne große Zwänge und jeder kann sich frei entfalten, ohne andere zu stören. Wir haben uns fest vorgenommen im Sommer wieder in diesem Hoten einzukehren, da die Gegend und die Möglichkeiten der Wanderrouten großartig sind. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Mauth und Freyung genug, außerdem ist die tschechische Grenze nur 7 km entfernt, dort kann man günstig Kleidung einkaufen.
