"An absolutely beautiful hotel and the residence rooms are large and beautifully laid out. We arrived in Manila very early in the morning and knew that we wouldn’t be able to check in until 4 pm but we decided to drop off our bags at the hotel so that we could explore the city a bit. The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating. They made every effort to get us into a room sooner. I wasn’t feeling well for a few days due to the heat and jet lag. When they saw my husband without me, they asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. My husband was thoroughly impressed with the gym and the attendants. We’ve never seen a hotel gym that well equipped before. The only minor concerns that we had was with the cleanliness of the bathroom (mildew/soap scum in the shower) and the slight food odor in the kitchen. My husband and I didn’t cook while we stayed there, so the food we smelled was either from an adjacent apartment or from the range hood. Otherwise, we’d definitely stay at the Shangri-La Residences at the Fort again and would highly recommend it to others staying in BCG. "
