One block from a grocery store and trolley stop. Two blocks from several restaurants and bars. Less than five minute walk to the subway. Free parking two blocks north on 2nd. Place was easy to find and get in to even though it was dark by the time we got there. We had one very minor issue that the owner was able to help us with quickly over the phone. There is a coffee machine but no Kuerig machine or French Press as was listed on the paperwork. Not a problem for me but my wife went to the Starbucks in the grocery store. Overall a great place to stay and would gladly stay there again if we come back to Philly. ##### Jeff B. Cannot park on street but decent parking within two blocks — parallel parking skills a MUST. Two issues have to be addressed — front door entrance is a nightmare. We had to work with the keypad and knob 15 times every time we tried to enter. Couldn’t get a lightbulb replaced in living room for five days — so no lamps, just bright overhead lighting. The beds and sheets were comfortable, so everyone slept well. The apartment is on a somewhat busy street and you can hear a lot of traffic noise in the front living room, but the bedrooms are set to the rear, so you aren’t bothered when it’s time to sleep. We were walking distance to great Fishtown bars and restaurants, which was fun. Also walking distance to markets, if you forget anything. The internet connection was too slow to allow us to stream movies at night, but fine otherwise. We especially loved being able to bring our well-behaved dogs with us for a weekend away.
